Toothpaste?!?!?!?

Do certain types og toothpaste such as colgate and crest actually whiten teeth as they claim?

Toothpaste?!?!?!?
Be care full with those whitening toothpastes they can be very abrasive and cause sensitivity. My advise would be to use the whitening toothpaste every other day to avoid that,Ive heard some people have had better results with the crest whitening strips.
Reply:YESS! i use Crest Whitening and Scope in it, and i LOVE it! it really helps! i thought my teeth looked yellow, but they really weren%26#039;t, but u no... not what i wanted them to look like! i have always had good brushing habbits, and known for having pretty white teeth! but yeah, its a pretty good tooth paste! i love it! lol!

Toothpaste!?

everytime i brush my teeth my gums bleed. is that normal? is it my toothpaste or is it my gums? also how do i get rid of calcium deposits? my friend wants to know.. she has them bad!!!

Toothpaste!?
It%26#039;s not normal! You probably do have gingivitis which may be caused by buildup (plaque and tartar) you cannot fully remove with brushing and flossing. Tartar is hard (like cement) and should be removed by a dental professional (hygienist or dentist). If that is not the case they could help you determine the cause, it might be caused by a medication you are taking or other medical condition. The health of your mouth is effected by the health or your body and vice versa. Brushing 3 times a day (at least) for 2 minutes with floss and a rinse would likely be the best routine for you. The good news is... you can get rid of gingivitis, but if it gets worse it turns into periodontal (bone) disease. Good Luck!

Reply:no its you. you brush to hard. my dentist told me people think brush harder against your teeth help when in fact its doesn%26#039;t it just make your gums bleed. he said that%26#039;s why its recommended to brush at last 5-10 minutes softly so you can reach everything and allow the little bristles to clean the sides of each teeth.
Reply:Try a %26quot;Water Pic%26quot; and read here......

Reply:Go to the dentist that kind of weird. U might have a disease.
Reply:yes that is normal althou u cud need some more vitamins

get sum vit c in ya now and eat ur fruit and vegies they wil give u vit D too which can help ya skin and gums, also calcium is good for ur gums and teeth too, dont brush for too long (over the reccomended time for each side) and dont press to hard, also ur brush maybe to hard for ur mouth
Reply:It might be gingivitis, a form of gum disease. Healthy gums do not bleed. Gum disease cannot be controlled on ur own. If ignored it can progress to advanced gum disease and bone loss. Usually there is no pain so most ppl ignore it. See ur dentist for custom treatment program or at least piece of mind. Better knowing than not knowing. Good luck!
Reply:Bleeding gums when you brush is often caused by inflamed gums. Inflamed gums are often caused by the inadequate plaque removal from your gum line and can cause gingivitis.

Be sure to brush your teeth after every meal or at least twice a day. Visit your dentist regularly and be sure to let him know about the bleeding.

WaterPiks are good to help prevent gingivitis and may stop the bleeding of your gums. They aren%26#039;t that expensive and completely worth it.
Reply:no it%26#039;s not normal, it%26#039;s not your tooth paste, if you%26#039;re talking about bleeding gums and and clacium deposits inthe same sentence I%26#039;d be more worried about periodontal disease or gingivitis (if you%26#039;re still lucky) You can get rid of calculus by goign to the dentist and getting your teeth cleaned... you need to brush your teeth twice a day and floss as often as you can at least once a day..

AND when you write for a friend.. or um.. yourself and you%26#039;re trying to keep it a secret... work on your pronouns.

Toothpaste?

Ok so I have this Toothpaste called %26quot;Crest ProHealth Night.%26quot; My question is since its called night I think you can use it only before you go to bed. so can I use it in the morning?

Toothpaste?
Yes you can. The idea of Crest pro-Health is that it cleans during the night making it easy for stains to be brushed off inthe morning. You can use it any time.

They%26#039;re marketing it as the best toothpaste to use before you go to sleep. But it can be used any time.
Reply:Yes, it is applicable during night at sleep time as you allow the gel to stick on your teeth until morning to get the white result. Somehow it%26#039;s a little hassle and you really had to be relax while sleeping or else the gel will not stick well thus lessening the result.

Toothpastes are mainly for teeth whitening purposes. Try the brand that had satisfied me with the real essence of a toothpaste. It%26#039;s the very effective teeth whitening kit from http://www.maximumteethwhitening.com/. It really works best for me and my family. It%26#039;s really one of a kind. Try also and see amazing white results at minimum time. It is also safe to use so no hassles.

Reply:Another genius!

Of course you can%26#039;t use it in the morning because if you do, it will turn into night! That in turn will throw off the entire gyroscope of the planet and then we%26#039;re all doomed!

Have a nice day!

Toothpaste?

does toothpaste really help you with youre pimples?

Toothpaste?
If toothpaste can help to get rid of pimples then, go back to the basic view that toothpaste are mainly for teeth whitening purpose. Try the brand that had satisfied me with the real essence of a toothpaste. It%26#039;s the very effective teeth whitening kit from http://www.maximumteethwhitening.com/. For me and my family, it is the best and one of a kind. Try and you%26#039;ll see the amazing difference. You deserve the bright smile of your life.
Reply:yeah kinda. it drys out your pimples.

im not sure.
Reply:It helps to kill the infection itself and also minimize redness, but I would not recomend putting it on your hole face.
Reply:no.
Reply:Only toothPASTE helps, not toothGEL. Toothpaste contains clay which dries out the pimple.

However, if you leave it on for too long (ie overnight), you will burn that area of your face. Apply a dab of toothpaste, let it sit until it dries, then wipe it off with a wet washcloth.

Toothpaste?

anybody know a toothpaste that has no mint flavor?

Toothpaste?
Close-Up (in the red tube) has no mint, instead it%26#039;s cinnamon. I can%26#039;t use it though because cinnamon makes me numb and unable to taste anything for a few days for some odd reason. My dentist said I may just have an allergy to it. No mint though, so give it a try.
Reply:Hi Diane, I did a little quick research and found something you%26#039;ll probably love, check out tom%26#039;s of maine, they make natural products, including toothpaste with many flavors like peach and blueberry. The link is: http://www.tomsofmaine.com/tom... Report It

Reply:Hi Diane,

Try Crest original paste.

Also, you can find fruit flavors if you are desperate.

I hate the mint flavors as well. Can%26#039;t stand them. My cousins are the same way. Mint: Yuck!
