Toothpaste?

Is it bad to leave your toothpaste cap off?

Will bacteria go in since its in the bathroom?

Will my teeth rot? =[

Toothpaste?
Good dental hygene should extend to the toothpaste, keep the cap clean and lid on.

No your teeth will not rot, unless you follow unhygenic practices, ie do not brush teeth until smooth, or inside of mouth and tongue, and floss twice per day. Drink lots of water expecially after indulgences such as cake and sweets, less carbonated and caffeinated drinks, and low sugar gum on the run, lots of fruit and raw vegetables.
Reply:lol i always put it back on... so it doesnt dry up for the next time i use it
Reply:yeah it is bad

but a couple of times wont rot your teeth
Reply:only if you don%26#039;t brush them. keep your toothbrush and toothpast as far away from the toilet as possible. there is a possibility but its really small. do use boiling hot water and rinse your toothbrush every month or so. besides, your mouth has a lot of bacteria anyway, that%26#039;s why you brush.
Reply:The only thing it will probably do is make the toothpaste dry up. Rightly, you should replace the cap always. I think it would be easier to replace the cap than worry your head off about bacteria. Your teeth will only rot if you don%26#039;t take proper care of them through regular visits to your dentist.
