TooTHPASTE?

if u have braces can u still use whitening toothpaste? or will it make spots on ur teeth when u get them off? plz hlp and thanx!

TooTHPASTE?
Whitening toothpaste is ok since all it really does is help remove stain that accumulates on the surface of the tooth. Whitening toothpaste very rarely achieves actually changing of the tooth color. However, you don%26#039;t want to use an actual whitening product (like aquafresh trays or whitening gel) since it could whiten the exposed tooth but not what is under the bracket since the area is sealed off with cement.

Reply:I was in your same situation a couple years ago, I used whiting toothpaste and it made a slight difference but enough to where you could see your outline of the braces, I just used some white strips when i got them off and it actually evened things out ...
