Toothpaste...?

I feel embarressed about bringing this up even on here but I don%26#039;t use toothpaste when I brush my teeth.

I brush twice a day but without toothpaste. I don%26#039;t use it because I can%26#039;t stand the taste of mint and it is too intense for me. The last time I used it, I puked and the rest of the times I gag.

So my question is...is there any other toothpaste that isn%26#039;t mint or isn%26#039;t intense? I need brands and the flavor.

I seriously want to change my life around and I don%26#039;t want to rot my teeth.

Toothpaste...?
You really don%26#039;t even need to use toothpaste when you brush as long as you brush thoroughly each time. The main reason for the average person to use toothpaste is to get the fluoride. After you brush and floss follow up with a fluoride rinse like Act. It comes in many flavors like bubble gum, grape, cinnamon and a few others.

Crest has a line of %26quot;expressions%26quot; toothpaste and gels. They have mild flavors like lemon, orange and vanilla.

If you really feel like you need a tooth paste see your dentist. He can give you a prescription for toothpaste.
Reply:Tom%26#039;s makes a number of flavors, but all of them have a minty component. The only toothpastes that DON%26#039;T taste minty are children%26#039;s ones. Check the children%26#039;s section of the toospaste counter, seriously. Alternatively, if you are a nature boy, you could make your own. In the %26quot;old days%26quot; people would brush with just a little baking soda (powder) on the toothpaste ---- and this is just as good as any brand toothpaste, actually.
Reply:The most important ingredient in toothpaste is the fluoride...

Have you tried all flavors... sometimes the sensitivity tp is less strong in the mintyness.

You can use a children%26#039;s toothpaste... they usually have bubble gum and fruit flavors.
Reply:Crest makes some great toothpastes...i love the lemon and orange flavors. They are refreshing, but not minty. They also don%26#039;t foam in your mouth like regular toothpaste...i hate the foamy stuff. This stuff comes in a bottle that stands up, not a tube. Here is a link to see the picture...they also have other flavors, non minty, as well.
