Toothpaste?

White Toothpaste on pimples apparently works well. is this true? and honey also...anyone? and anything else?

Toothpaste?
Yes, that is correct that toothpaste drys your pimples up, it does not treat the cause though.

Now about honey. REAL honey contains almost full Mendeleev table of microelements.

There are many home made beauty recepies that you can use honey for.

I use honey twice a week when I go to sauna. I made myself sweat really well, take a shower and after that go back to sauna and spread honey all over my body and face with a scrub that I make out of herbs. The basic one that you can make is regular mint. Dry leaves and ground it in the coffee grinder. You can use it for scrub mixed with honey.

Now what it will give you.

First of all honey clears your pores, it gives you vitamins and minerals that you skin lack of especially in the winter. When you are in sauna or steam room you start to sweat, your pores open up and release access of oil, old skin cells get really soft. So when you use honey and fine herb scrub you buff off dead skin cells and it helps to clear up your skin, it starts to breath again (just a reminder that skin is the biggest breathing organ that humans have).

If you can%26#039;t go to sauna or steam room take a warm bath for 30 minutes and after that you can use honey with scrub. Rub your feet with it really good as well, since we have a lot of pressure points on your feet that responsible for health of different organs.

People get pimples by several reason: hormons, bad hygenic habbits, poor diet, lack of vitamins and minerals or an infection.

Alleviate coffeine, sugar and vinegar out of your diet (it takes 35 chemical reactions for your liver do digest an acetic acid - white vinegar that we use for cooking and preserves).

Btw, honey would be the best substitute for sugar.

Honey is significantly sweeter than table sugar and has attractive chemical properties for baking. Honey has a distinctive flavor which leads some people to prefer it over sugar and other sweeteners.

Liquid honey does not spoil. Because of its high sugar concentration, it kills most bacteria by crenation. Natural airborne yeasts cannot become active in it because the moisture content is too low.

Honey is a mixture of sugars and other compounds. With respect to carbohydrates, honey is mainly fructose (about 38.5 percent) and glucose (about 31.0 percent). The remaining carbohydrates include maltose, sucrose and other complex carbohydrates. In addition, honey contains a wide array of vitamins, such as vitamin B6 , thiamin, niacin, riboflavin and pantothenic acid. Essential minerals including calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and zinc as well as several different amino acids have been identified in honey. (Honey also contains several compounds which function as antioxidants. Known antioxidant compounds in honey are chrysin, pinobanksin, vitamin C, catalase and pinocembrin. Unlike most other sweeteners, honey contains small amounts of a wide array of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants.

I hope this will help.
Reply:Yep, toothpaste works it actually dries them up, but i dont know about the honey.
Reply:toothpaste works because it dries out the pimple. i%26#039;ve never heard of honey, but i wouldn%26#039;t put something sugary on my face. natural exfoliants like sand work wonders, so have a fun day at the beach
Reply:toothpaste works...never heard about honey
Reply:I%26#039;ve always heard of using toothpaste on pimples!

It probably depends on your skin type.
Reply:Yeah, the problem is you dry out the top layer of the skin, which makes the gland produce even more tallow to compensate for this. So it can be sort of counter productive.
Reply:yes it does works
Reply:Toothpaste works! As for honey, Ived heard it but never tried it. This page lists honey and several others I have never really tried, including lemon juice...

Reply:Honey is a great moisturizer so you would NOT want to use it on a pimple!!!!!!!! but if you have really dry skin, after washing your face and drying it, apply a very small amount of honey all over your face and leave on for about 5 minutes, then rinse with warm water..you skin never felt so smooth!!!!!!!! but for acne/pimple? NO NO NO..
