Toothpaste....?

Everytime I brush my teeth I feel so hungry after....I can eat a full meal and brush my teeth then feel like I haven%26#039;t eaten all day. Literally. No matter how much or how less I eat when I brush my teeth I feel hungry! Like starving hungry! Is there some ingredient in toothpaste that makes u hungry? Something that%26#039;s in all toothpaste products I tried them all and its still the same for all. Is it just me? Or does n e 1 else have this problem

Reply:maybe when you brush your teeth you swallow some of the toothpaste and make your stomach think its going to have a meal....its the same with chewing gum, when you chew it your body thinks you are about to eat and then when you dont you feel like youre about to faint with hunger

Reply:Try switching to a fluoride free toothpaste, wait to eat till after you brush, and mention it to your doc the next time you see him/her

That happened to me last week!!





I was in the Safeway over in East Orange. . . they had bottles of Crest Liquid Gel on sale. I was looking at all the colors and flavors. They were all okay. . . but, they had a NEW FLAVOR, yo!!





New Crest Flouride Philly Cheesesteak flavor!!!





What a GREAT idea!! I brush my teeth SO MUCH now!!





And YES it DOES make me hungry.





So hungry, in fact, I have begun keepin a bottle of squeeze ketchup and a bottle of squeeze mustard in the bathroom. It works SO WELL with the new Crest flavor, I may just move the toothpaste to the kitchen so I can use it to make SANDWICHES!!!!

Reply:Start brushing with just plain water. If it doesn%26#039;t happen with water, it%26#039;s one of the ingredients in your toothpaste.





Fluoride can increase thirst. Maybe it%26#039;s the ingredient that increases appetite.











Even if you don%26#039;t swallow toothpaste, it gets absorbed into the bloodstream via the mouth membranes
