Safe toothpaste for toddlers?

I want to find a safe (organic if possible) non-fluoride toothpaste for my tooder. I was recommended NATURAL HOMEOPATHIC-STYLE WHITENING TOOTHPASTE from NATURAL CARE TOM%26#039;S OF MAINE. Is this a good alternative? Thanks for your input.

Safe toothpaste for toddlers?
Tom%26#039;s of Maine makes great products; however, I wouldn%26#039;t recommend a whitening toothpaste for a toddler. Have you tried Jason Natural Cosmetics - Toddler Toothpaste Strawberry Banana? It can be purchased on www.amazon.com or the link below:

I personally have never used this on my daughter, but since toddlers don%26#039;t need fluoridated toothpaste until the age of 3 (or when they can spit the toothpaste out properly) this should work.

When your child needs fluoridated toothpaste, Tom%26#039;s of Maine has natural anti-cavity toothpaste for children.

Have fun brushing!
Reply:Oral-B makes a toddler tooth %26amp; gum cleaner, as does Gerber. They sell them just about everywhere in the toothpaste aisle.
Reply:I think the main concern is finding a toothpaste that does not contain flouride since this is a toxic chemical in large doses, and especially to children.
Reply:i advice parents to use a non fluoride toothpaste for infant to toddler years, as too much fluoride would cause fluorosis of the permanent teeth.

a good alternative from the one you mention is Sansfluo or any baby toothpaste from gerber, avent, or pigeon

if you are having trouble looking for any one these, look for a non fluoride toothpaste containing xylitol.
