Making And Using Baking Soda Toothpaste?

Could I make a toothpaste of just Baking Soda and water, if so how much of each? And after using the Baking Soda toothpaste would you then use your normal toothpaste? Would you use Baking Soda toothpaste once a week, once a day, every time you brush, or does it not matter?

Making And Using Baking Soda Toothpaste?
You mix only enough Soda %26amp; Water to create a thick paste...Use it in the same amount you would toothpaste. As for using both, it depends on what you want to accomplish. Soda toothpaste will clean and somewhat and I say %26quot;somewhat%26quot; help make your teeth whiter...That is accomplished by the Soda having a bit more oxygenation abilities than regular toothpaste.

Toothpaste on the other hand has compounds in it%26#039;s formula that provides certain beneficial bacteria and decay preventives. Using an alternating schedule between the two would be the better choice...Soda for your morning brushing and toothpaste for the evening brushing.

NOW, This is provided to you with the understanding that you will use great caution..If you want to create a really efficient tooth cleaning compound do this: Purchase from the pharmacy section of your store a small can of %26quot;Flower of Pumice%26quot;....Mix one half teaspoon of the pumice with one full teaspoon of baking soda, then add enough water to create a thick paste...This mixture will out clean any toothpaste on the market...HOWEVER, remember ,I said %26quot;CAUTION%26quot;...You %26quot;must not%26quot; use this mixture more than once a month. Good luck and I wish you well.
Reply:my cousin works on stage and she uses it once a week to take stains off of teeth and leave them really white works a treat has lovley teeth
Reply:I%26#039;m not sure exactly what would be the right amount of use...I would be careful...its abrasive....so toooo much is not going to be very kind to the enamel....I think?
Reply:i do agree with what you are trying to achieve with the baking soda, but you need fluoride toothpaste more, may i recommend instead that you buy something like pearl drops or something else more abrasive that removes stains and also says whitening on it. these will contain fluoride too so your teeth will remain more protected from acid erosion than just baking soda on its own. use these 2 times a week for about 2 months then just once a week after that to prevent any stains building up, along with your normal toothpaste every other day and the evenings of those days you use the abrasive ones.

baking soda does work, and yes does not contain chemicals, but fluoride is essential at keeping your teeth cavity free (unless you eat and drink all the wrong things alot).
Reply:Arm %26amp; Hammer is a good one on sale
