Pimples and toothpaste?

i heard that putting toothpaste on a pimple will make it go away the next day. i need to know if this is true soon. whats the difference if i use gel toothpaste cuz thats all i got.

Pimples and toothpaste?
Toothpaste is NOT recommended for pimples. It%26#039;s too strong for your face. The best thing to do, is use a medicated acne cream with Benzoil. If you can afford it, it helps to seek professionnal help if it%26#039;s chronic. See a dermatologist. Depending on your skin type, he or she will help you.

Another thing you can do is go see a pharmacy technician at your local drug store. He%26#039;ll help you out.

Take care, and good luck. I know what it%26#039;s like, it sucks, but it%26#039;ll get better. Whatever you do, try not to touch them.. The oil on your fingers are bad for creating pimples in the first place. Get your fingers out of your face LOL.

Cheers!
Reply:no gel

needs to be old fashion white paste
Reply:proactive clean %26amp; clean or stridex...

can get at wal-mart k-mart grocery store or pharmacy!
Reply:It is better to get a medication that is made for pimples, but yes it does dry the pimple and makes it shrink. Gel doesnt work as well as regular.
Reply:Im sure it would work, but I wouldnt use gel I would use a paste. You would be surprised how well toothpaste can work.I use it for cold sores and fever blisters, and it works wonderful.I would reapply it after cleansing your face at least 2 times daily and even sleep with it on!
Reply:normal toothpaste but I recommend you to buy a product called St. Ives apricot scrub it is fantastic! and it is not at all expensive you can buy it at Wall-Mart or Giant
Reply:Gel will not work. It wont go away, but it will make it less gross looking and make it go away faster. The best toothpaste I%26#039;ve used for that is Colgate Cavity Fighting.
