Is natural toothpaste like Tom's of Maine as good as name brands like Crest for fighting cavities and plaque?

i want to try using natural toothpaste, but don%26#039;t want to have issues with cavities and plaque.

Are natural toothpastes as good as big brands that use chemicals?

Yes!!! And better for your health! I highly recommend Tom%26#039;s of Maine toothpaste and I suggest you use the one without fluoride to avoid unneeded exposure to that substance. I am almost 45 years old and for most of the past 30 years I have used it, I love it, avoid all the chemicals and artificial sweeteners and I don%26#039;t have any cavities. The anti-plaque formula removes the plaque and remember to brush your teeth often to get rid of the plaque too.
Reply:I use it myself and now they have various things in it to fight cavities and plaque, it just doesn%26#039;t have various types of bleach and things like other toothpaste.

Its natural, so its going to be better for your body itself if anything.
Reply:i find all natural brands to actually work better- they don%26#039;t contain sugar and artificial colorings! my personal favorite is desert essence- check them out
Reply:yes it has the same amount of fluoride as Colgate. Its a anti cavity toothpaste.
Reply:I%26#039;ve used toms. Was great, though the mint flavor is a little light. Kept my teeth sparkling!
Reply:No they are not. It%26#039;s hype. Sure, Tom%26#039;s is %26quot;natural%26quot;. So is everything else on this earth. Tom%26#039;s is just a trendy, expensive toothpaste that tastes like hell.
Reply:Tom%26#039;s is fine, although I prefer Colgate. As long as it says that it%26#039;s approved by the ADA(american dental association) it%26#039;s good.
