Toothpaste on zit?

ok so i have a zit not big a small one but its noticeable


I heard if you put toothpaste on it, it will come off fast


exactly how do you do it?? (step by step)

1.wet you face with cold water


2.then put sum toothpaste on the pimple or zit


3.let it stay there for 5-10 min then wash it of


(you could even do that when you Get In The Shower)
Reply:okay well i have only done this 1 time but my bestfriend does it alll the time haha so hers what you do ..its very simple


1) make sure nothing is over the zit clothes,hair,etc..


2) get the toothpaste and put asome on. make sure it covers all of the infected area.


3)let it dry and then just wash it off and go to bed and by the morning it should be gone or it should look better.

but lately i%26#039;ve been hearing that toothpaste actually clogs your pores... but i dont know.


i tried it once, though.


i just put a little bit of toothpaste on it..


let it dry..


left it on overnight..


and when i woke up the next morning,i took off the toothpaste...and it seemed a little less noticeable.
Reply:when i get a zit i do use toothpaste sometimes but it does not clear the zit it only dry it up.i would put a little bit on finger n leave it on over night. if it leaves a scar u can try esoterica cream from walgreens,cvs,ect....about 5-6 dollars. worked wonders on my skin.if i do break out now the esoterica clears it right up. my doctor recommended it n its the best.

Reply:The only advice I am going to give you about tooth paste on zits is this. My sister had done this idea less than a month ago, because i seen it on Y!A. My sister has bad acne and blemishes because of constant use of make up clogging her pores (btw she is 14), she had place a small amount on the zit and let it sit there on her face overnight. Bad Idea, within 3 days of doing this her face became very dry and the break outs became worse. This is her experience, several people on Y!A advised for toothpaste to stay on zit overnite till morning and wash it off. It might work for some but not others...good luck. I told her to stick with the old fashion soap (like dial) and warm water, than rinse soap off with cold water to close pores.

1. wash your face just like normal


2.vasiline or other face lotion in a thin layer


3. proxcide the infected area [pre caution]


4. then rub a little spot of toothpaste on the infected areas


5. make sure its a really minty paste or really cinnamony something zesty what ever makes that stong taste is what kills the bacteria causing the zit.





let it sit over night!
