Toothpaste for Acne?

does toothpaste really work to get rid of acne?

Toothpaste for Acne?
it works for some, but not everyone.

here are some things that you can do to help...

mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. these two things are very inexpenisve and it%26#039;s very easy to do since there is only two ingerdients. toothpaste is good also (for some people). put only a little bit before you go to sleep. some people use this as a mask but DON%26#039;T do it! it can change your skin tone and make your face discolored. aloe vera helps scars lighten and less noticable. use the gel or the real thing. try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not to hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. the use cold water at the end to close you pores. the smaller your pores are, the less likely you%26#039;re prone to pimples. an egg yoke is good also. i used this when i had pimples. just take the egg yoke (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water. keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. change you sheets because they%26#039;re are trapped with dirt, oils, etc. zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. you can buy these almost about any large store (such as walmart or shaws.) have one tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits. clearasil, neutrogena, and proactive are good choices to start. don%26#039;t use body soaps because they dry out your skin. don%26#039;t scrub too hard either, because it can irritate your skin. tea tree oil helps alot, and it can help scars heal faster.
Reply:no use noxzema and seabreeze for acne.
Reply:no it does not
Reply:It does not, it%26#039;s an old wives tale.
Reply:kind of. It makes it go down but it doesnt always completely get rid of it... Try mixing a little baking soda with even less water then but it on your pimples and let it dry. That helped me.. Good luck %26lt;3 :D
Reply:yeah i does! at least for me. at night u put FLUORIDE toothpaste on a band aid and stick it over ur pimple. it actually works.
Reply:I think that myth is around due to the mint and drying nature of toothpaste on skin. Not really your best solution.

Keep your hands and pillowcases clean. Try not to touch your face with your hands alot, you would be surprised how often we put our hands to our faces and transfer bacteria.

Any time you do need to %26quot;clean up%26quot; some acne, put toilet paper on the ends of your fingers so you don%26#039;t bruise the skin. Always use some toner and or alcohol dabbed on the areas before and after you work on your face. Pick as little as possible!

Good luck
Reply:it works for meee !
Reply:OK LISTEN UP

1) The toothpaste can bring it down

2) WILL NOT completly clear it!!!

There are cheap alternatives!

Try using a mixture of TEA TREE + WITCH HAZEL TO WASH FACE, THEN RINSE , WHEN U WAKE UP AND GO TO BED, THESE PRODUCTS ARE SOLD IN LOADS OF SHOPS AT AFFORDABLE PRICES
Reply:haha i tried it once and it didn%26#039;t do squat for me except make my skin smell minty fresh....although it kinda depends on the person so you might wanna try it on you but don%26#039;t put it all over your skin so if it doesn%26#039;t work/makes your skin worse then at least it won%26#039;t be all over your face.
Reply:Apply some toothpaste on the acne. Ice down the acne before bed, by morning it should be noticeably better. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.
