Will using non-fluoride toothpaste give me cavities?

Fluoride is highly toxic and a poison, if not too many people know it. Thats why fluoride toothpastes have warning, that if amount consumed is more than used for brushing, poison center should be contacted immediately.

And since our water already has fluoride in it, i decided to use non-fluoride toothpaste.

Does that mean i would get cavities if i use non-fluoride toothpaste?

There is no benefit of fluoride at all, other than the fact that some say it prevents cavities. However now many scientific studies dispute that fluoride even plays any role in preventing cavities.

so there is lots of conflicting information and debate on the issue of fluoride.

I have good dental health and go to dentist every 6 months. But i want to know if cavities would develop using no fluoride pastes?

Will using non-fluoride toothpaste give me cavities?
No, you won%26#039;t actually GET cavities from non-fluoride toothpaste. The difference between fluoride in your water and fluoride in toothpaste is you don%26#039;t swallow the toothpaste, you spit it out, which makes voids the toxicity of fluoride. But also, not all levels of fluoride we consume are toxic, we actually need fluoride in our bodies, which is some communities add fluoride to water, getting too much fluoride is the problem.

I would say that if your teeth are already in good shape, using a non-fluoride toothpaste would be fine. If you do start to notice a difference, though, you might want to try a mouthwash with fluoride.
Reply:Nowadays only old-school dentists seem to recommend fluoride. If you look at canadian journals of science there have been published studies that say that fluoride can actually yellow teeth and promote decay rather than prevent it. Fluoride comes in many chemical formulas and if not formulated exactly right can have bad consequences for you. If fluoride is taken exactly right and in its exactly required formula it does help you with your teeth. If not taken right or in the incorrect formula it can cause damage to teeth and other bodily organs. So in the end, there is no good answer because if you are taking it currently exactly how you%26#039;re supposed to not using it anymore will hurt you if you%26#039;re not taking it right and you stop then it may benefit you or hurt you.

Fluoride like all the other stuff we take nowadays is not a clear winner or loser. Just last week I saw a TV ad for a antiarthritis drug that said that several test patients developed cancer because they used the drug. You take a drug for pain..and you get cancer..again no clear winner.
Reply:according to this site is very bad. and now a days its in the water we drink. is this a way to get us sick so that we resort to going to the doctor that doesn%26#039;t know whats wrong with us.
Reply:It would be hard to find a non fluoride toothpaste, but one I recommend is %26#039;Sheffield%26#039;s tartar control toothpaste%26quot; in health stores and some 99c stores. It tastes good and cleans well. Play it safe and not sorry, just brush morning and after meals. Also stay off sugar as much as possible, a very good substitute is called Xylitol sugar substitute. It helps prevent cavities.
