Is toothpaste really a safe way to get rid of pimples?

i might try it tonight to get rid of a pimple close to my lips but i want to see the experience others had when doing so. btw is it safe to use proactive health for the toothpaste bc on the label it says no person under 12 should use it while on regular toothpaste it says no person under 2 should use it. so yea i am only 12? should i use it?

Reply:I use toothpaste on my pimples all the time. It dries them out quickly but make sure to apply the paste to the pimple only not the area around it because it will dry your skin. Use it just long to see a result in the pimple then stop or it may leave scarring.
