Dog toothpaste???

I have been trying to get dog toothpaste for ever but my dad will not drive me to petco to get I can go to Walgreen%26#039;s and cvs is baby or fluoride free human toothpaste ok for dogs?

Dog toothpaste???
NO! Do not use human toothpaste at all! Not even a tiny amount! Some human toothpastes also contain Xylitol, which is an artificial sweetener, and its VERY toxic to dogs!

Human toothpaste will not do any good, even if it is flouride free. Dog toothpaste has enzymes in it that help break down the plaque.
Reply:No do not use that. Only DOg toothpaste is acceptable, you can kill your dog.
Reply:You probably should stick to dog toothpaste. Some stuff is lethal in any human toothpaste. But if you do decide to use it, use as little as possible and use lots of water.
Reply:buy it online i dont know if you can use it but i wouldnt. Go to petco.com and buy it there obviously
Reply:I would not recommend doing that. Better safe than sorry. Just wait till you get to the pet store and get a few tubes so you wont run out and get him a doggy toothbrush also. So I would NOT do that if I were you. As the other guy said buy it online and tell your dad instead of driving you to petco ask for his CC(credit card) and buy it online.
Reply:no its not

dogs dont like minty taste of toothpaste

better to give him a nice big bone to chew on this will clean his teeth
Reply:my dad used mentadent on our dogs... but he had to make sure that they didnt swallow it.. and that was hard... so stick to dog stuff.... but buy it online. or ask 1 of ur friends if u give her the $ then she go buy it and give it 2 u...
Reply:take Ur bike to Petco or walk there
Reply:Don%26#039;t give human toothpaste to your dog!

If you can%26#039;t get to petco, see if there is a closer pet store or even a grocery store that has pet toothpaste in the petcare section.
Reply:Are you kidding?
