Acne-toothpaste?

i heard toothpaste can help clear up your acne fast. is it true? and what kind of toothpaste do you have to use?

Acne-toothpaste?
toothpaste WILL dry out your skin, therefore clearing up acne, but i wouldn%26#039;t advise it. There are products that do the same thing, such as clearasil and clean and clear. you need to wash your face with a mild soap twice a day and more, if you%26#039;ve been exercising. pat your face dry, never rub. Also, don%26#039;t pick pimples. if left alone, it will dissappear in about 8 days, if you pick, it can take weeks and you risk scarring. i have such bad acne that i have to see a dermatologist. i%26#039;m on antibiotics and several face creams. If you can%26#039;t get rid of it no matter what, you could try a dermatologist. good luck!
Reply:No. This is not true. Get yourself a really good multivitamin, some Neem (found at healthfood stores) and wash with antibacterial soap (hand soap is fine) once a day. This will help clear your skin.
Reply:I did it. it drys out the spots, the best way to use is only on one,not to spread all over.
Reply:no, it doesn%26#039;t really work. you should go to the doctor and get a prescription for benzoyl peroxide. i use that and i haven%26#039;t got acne since and there%26#039;s no bad after effects. =]
Reply:ha ha. No people have been saying that forever. In all honesty it does work. But it dries them out, and they flack off. I use just plain dove white soap, and an oil free moisterizer. It does wonders.
Reply:Gel toothpaste doesn%26#039;t work, only the white kind.
