I have been playing Final Fantasy X-2 and in the begining of the game where the high graphics are my cd would skip and freeze, I fixed that by blowing on the cd and inside my ps2 it worked fine and I got through the scenes. Now I am having trouble with another one (Viewing the sphere at the end of chapter 1 where he tries to rescue lenne with vegnagun or whatever) The screen goes black and the first subtitle appears saying ????: You know your the only one who can save Lenne. or whatever. It just stays like that forever. I used a damp q-tip and cleaned the inside of my Ps2 (The part where you put the cd in) it didnt work, so i thought it may be my Cd there are some scratches but not many on it. Every other part works fine except for the high graffic parts. Ive heard that toothpaste can take out scratches but I dont know how much to apply where to apply it ect. Can someone help? I also need to know If Im susposed to wash the toothpaste off afterwards or not. Thanks!
Toothpaste cleaning Cd%26#039;s?
I don%26#039;t recommend using toothpaste, it can damage your PS2. If I were you, I%26#039;d take the disc to your local game rental place and have them buff the scratches out. It usually costs about $5, and will fix it perfectly.

Toothpaste = Scab thing?
Okay, so I put toothpaste on my upper eyebrow %26#039;cause I got a pimple there.. but I think I put too much.. %26#039;cause when I woke up in the morning and got out of the shower. I had a big brown hard spot where I had left the toothpaste.. so my question is, will this brown scab thing go away? Or is it there forever ? O_O
Toothpaste = Scab thing?
it will go away, just leave it alone.
Reply:why dont you scrub your face
Reply:Did you ever have a scab that lasted forever:?
Reply:It will go away, but don%26#039;t use toothpaste again, it%26#039;s caustic. Use proper medication for pimples.
Reply:never heard of that happening did you make the pimple blled or something?use witch hazel then apply neosyprin to prevent scar

Toothpaste on a zit and it exploded into a huge bruise thing?
I popped a zit on my forehead and then right after I put some toothpaste on it. When I washed the toothpaste off there was a huge red bruise looking thing there. This happened three weeks ago and it%26#039;s still there. Why did this happen and how can I get rid of it?
Toothpaste on a zit and it exploded into a huge bruise thing?
Ouch. Don%26#039;t try that again!
Reply:That is CRAZY!!!
Reply:why put toothpaste on it?
Reply:You may have squeezed too hard, therefore causing brusing and swelling. Apply icepack for 10 minutes 20 minutes off, sensitive area so dont freeze the skin, use a towel in between ice and skin.
It really isnt recommended that people pop pimples, it just speads the bacteria that caused the acne around.
Reply:You are supposed to put toothpaste on it and NOT pop it. So you irritated it by popping it and added a little something to it. just wait it out.

Toothpaste zapping pimps?
Okay so I have heard that toothpaste can help dry pimps out over night... So does anyone know if i matters what kind of toothpaste you use?
Toothpaste zapping pimps?
be careful what you use because i think once i used a gel and it was not good. and dont leave it on for too long just in case.
Reply:As long as its paste and not the Gel kind, it should be fine

Reply:t dosent matter as long as its not gel be careful though because if you leave it on too long you can burn your skin and get an ugly brownish spot.
Reply:It%26#039;s a good thing you heard that! I use it all the time and it works. I use Crest whitening. Not gel.
Reply:any kind will work

Reply:It doesn%26#039;t work 4 me I%26#039;ve tried Colgate

Toothpaste for acne scars???
Does whitening toothpaste get rid of acne scars? I%26#039;ve heard toothpaste dries pimples, but does it do this?
Toothpaste for acne scars???
NO !!! leave the scar alone and only put scar treatment or lightening scar cream on {{neosporin]] works good. ive had a pimple scar be4 and ive tried toothpaste and it burned my skin off ! do not do it ! put nothing on except neosporin or such for a wk and it will slowly fade away :]
Reply:no
Reply:no. try a skin lightening lotion. neutragena makes a good one.
Reply:no don%26#039;t try it it could only give a bad reaction with your skin and give you more acne and scars
Reply:It dries pimples but doesnt cure them.

Reply:Personally, ive read alot on acne scars as i have quite a few left over too. What ive heard to do is apply acv(apple cider vinegar, u can buy it at ur grocery store for under 2 bucks) and mix it half and half with warm water. Then dab the diluted acv with a cotton ball and apply it on your scar. Also i have heard that drinking it is great too but it might taste a bit sour :P . Also another great thing to do is go make an appointment with your dermatologist and get her/him to prescribe u a tropical gel called %26quot;retin a micro%26quot;. As ive heard and read, u need to apply just a lil%26#039; dab on the scar for about twice a day, preferably morning and night. However the downfall to using retin-a micro is that it will peel your skin - but thats how it works. Using retin-a micro will make ur scars get better before it gets worst. tho retin a micro wont work over night, i am more then certain u will achieve decent results from using it atleast about 2-3 weeks. It takes a bit of time, but im positive that if you use this tropical and dab some acv dilutd with water, those maarks will fade in time. gd luck :)

Toothpaste on acne?
By putting a bit of toothpaste on some of your pimples, it%26#039;s said that it%26#039;s supposed to clear them/help them.
Does it actually work?
And how long should I keep the toothpaste on, and if I continue to do it how long will it take for the pimples to go away completely?
Thanks!
Toothpaste on acne?
It does dry them up. I think you should put it on tonight before you go to bed and wash it off in the morning. Make sure you dont pick them first or it wont help. Use the paste not the gel. It does dry them out. I would just do it at night. In the meantime, change your make up. Try bare minerals. I never got a pimple again after i started using it. Good luck!! Oh and believe it or not. Moisturize every day at night and morning under your make up. This also cleared up my skin. It sounds like it would make it worse but it didnt.

Toothpaste Expiry Date?
What does it mean when your toothpaste is past its expiry date? Has it gone bad, will it make me sick if I use it? Will is clean just as good? I bought toothpaste and noticed it expired last month.
Toothpaste Expiry Date?
It means that the active ingredients in your toothpaste are probably not good anymore. You can probably safety use it te toothpaste, but it will not be as effective as one that is within the expiration dates.
Reply:As long as you don%26#039;t buy your toothpaste from China where they make it poisonous, you are fine. The expiry dates are set earlier than expected for the ingredients to stop being effective. See if your teeth are getting clean enough. IN reality it is the brushign that is effective, not the actual paste.
Reply:the active whitening materials wont work anymore, so buy new toothpaste

Toothpaste on Pimple?!?
Ok, I got some few questions about this topic.
1. Does it work?, and what does it do to make it work?
2.Does it matter what toothpaste you use?
3. Is the clearasil ultra 3-day thing where you dab some on and the pimple or bump will go away in 3 days(works better then toothpaste?)?.
That%26#039;s all, If anyone can help me out that would be Great! Well thanks in advance.
Toothpaste on Pimple?!?
Anwser to question one it does work for me, it dries the pimple up, but I have known people that they say it doesn%26#039;t work for them.... but sry I really don%26#039;t know why.
Anwser to question 2.. so far to me any toothpaste has worked the gel one%26#039;s the white one%26#039;s different flavors etc.. it has all worked for me
I don%26#039;t use clearasil but if u don%26#039;t want to spend ur money on something that might not work.. try out the toothpaste trick first
Reply:Toothpaste has peppermint and stings on a wound if you apply it to a mosquito bite etc, but don%26#039;t use it for a zit.
Clearasil is great-it dries out the zit which will dry out in a week or so.
Reply:1. yes, it sometimes helps. It dries out the pimple, making the swelling go down.
2. Yes. it should be white or light blue in color.
3. Any medication is going to work better than toothpaste.
Reply:Many people swear by toothpaste, but in reality, all it really does is just dry it out. Some people see great results with natural fruits as masks. Others find more results with Proactiv--it all depends on your condition. If you want more pimple remedies, check out http://www.realhomeremedies.com and click on the acne link on the left.

TOOTHPASTE+ACNE=CLEAR SKlN ??
I heard that putting toothpaste on your acne makes the redness go away. Is that true?? And if it is, does it matter what kind of toothpaste you use?? Like does it have to be plain, or the paste kind instead of the gel or does it really not matter?? Thanks in advance
TOOTHPASTE+ACNE=CLEAR SKlN ??
It dries up the pimple but if you%26#039;re faired skinned like I am, the redness is worse. Just make sure you don%26#039;t put on too much toothpaste and don%26#039;t leave it on overnight. Don%26#039;t use gel toothpastes or whitening toothpaste, the best ones to use are the basic white types (no whitening, no fresher-breath, no flavoured ones) Good Luck.
Reply:it may make the redness go away, but it does not clear it, it will still come back
after all toothpaste is just soap for your moth
and soap just makes your hands slippery, so that particals can be washed off easily
so it would not make sence that it does, i would just say try it, it wont hurt you at all
Reply:nope it only harm your skin and leave it dry
Reply:I tried it and it made the acne worse, but I read in Seventeen that it works.
Reply:I have heard many different things on this subject, but many of them are that it works. The only thing I can suggest is that you just try it. It doesn%26#039;t matter what kind of toothpaste, just whatever you have. Use it before you go to bed, leave it on all night %26amp; wash your face in the morning. Try it for a few days, the worst it can do is not work!

Reply:no.
i%26#039;ve tried it with multiple toothpastes and it doesn%26#039;t work.
if you want a really quick way use clean and clear atringent.
it works quickly.
Reply:Toothpaste on acne never worked for me- it didn%26#039;t diminish any redness, and the blemishes remained.
Reply:nope
Wash the face thoroughly with a non-oily face wash twice a day. After wiping off the water from the face apply tea-tree oil on the face. This can reduce the acne chances.
Don’t apply any oily or chemical cosmetics on the face. Apart from this basic acne remedy you can also use natural cleansers for better results.

Reply:umm i dont think it helps
Reply:someone told me the same thing about zits. Hey, it shrunk my zit! but i have noo idea about scars :)
Reply:The only thing I can think of, and I might be wrong, is that toothpaste is abbrasive and that when you apply it, it%26#039;s exfoliating the scab and making it appear smaller. Prehaps if you just put any other exfoliating facial scrub on there, it would have the same effect.
Of course, there may be something I don%26#039;t know about.
Also, try putting bacitracin on it for quicker healing - also, keep it clean and don%26#039;t pick at it!
Good luck!
Reply:i never heard that one but might try aloe
Reply:I would have to agree that it might just be ur imagination. I%26#039;m a huge skin-care freak and I reccomend toothpaste to anyone who is trying to get rid of a zit, because it is like Calomine lotion in the fact that it asorbs the liquids within. So unless it%26#039;s a (pardon the grossness) juicy scab, then it shouldnt be working. I suggest to just buy some Maderma or any Neosporin ointments. But otherwize, toothpaste shouldnt be hurting anything, so just rub your belly and pat your head, and u might get some more luck ;o)

Toothpaste on scratched ps2 disks?
I have 2 scratched Sims games, and I decided I want to %26#039;fix%26#039; them. I%26#039;ve seen videos that toothpaste helps, but I also don%26#039;t want to damage my games even more.
if the toothpaste does work, what kind should I use? and how do I apply/take it off?
Toothpaste on scratched ps2 disks?
well, personally. I use soap to clean my disks when there dirty. a lil soap (liquid) and water cleans stuff right of (no tto much) because toothpast will be WAY to hard to take of without scratching the disk more. So I dont thnk its a good idea.
Reply:put the toothpaste on the disk then spread it over the disk with a Q tip to spred the toothpaste over the disk when your done doing that use toliet paper to clean it up works every time
Reply:Toothpaste is a great way to fix a scratched disc. Be sure to use a white paste-type toothpaste--not the gel kind. Also, be sure your toothpaste has no kind of crystals in it.
Now, take a tissue--not cotton balls, or any ind of rough cloth-and wipe the disc from the center out to the edge with the toothpaste.. Do this all the way around the disc. Let it sit for a minute or two and with a clean tissue rub again from the center to the edge all the way around the disc.
Now use a tissue with a little regular rubbing alcohol and clean from the center outward all the way around to remove any residue that might remain.
This works most of the time--unless the disc is really damaged.

Toothpaste Treatment?
I know you can help pimples with toothpaste, but can you use any toothpaste? IE we use Aquafresh and Colgate Gel/Solid Peppermint
Toothpaste Treatment?
Toothpaste is not good, the flouride actually makes it worse.
Reply:Only use a traditional solid white toothpaste.
Reply:Do not use the gel. It has to be toothpaste. I just read a model dabs cider vinegar on her pimples. Good Luck!
Reply:colgate is the best
Reply:i do not recommend toothpaste it will only make the area dry and the fluoride will actually make it worst.
and if u actually have acne. i happen to be using Acne solutions from Clinique its the best thing that%26#039;s ever happened to me. i had sever acne over Christmas break i used Clinique%26#039;s kit for a week and everything started to clear up! you should be able to pick one up at your local mall. and its relatively cheap about 35 dollars for face wash, cleaning solution and lotion. works like a charm!
other then that wash your face regularly and only use oil free products on your face..
good luck! :)

Toothpaste on pimples?
if the toothpaste really works on clearing pimples up, why don%26#039;t they just take the label %26quot;toothpaste%26quot; off and change it into %26quot;pimple cream%26quot; something like that.
Toothpaste on pimples?
The alkaline in the toothpaste just dries out the pimple, but most pimple removing creams have alkaline (the same as toothpaste!) except you can%26#039;t brush your teeth with them!

Reply:works! but not to clear pimples, but to reduce swelling and redness...chemicals in it help the healing process, and the menthol helps soother irritated skin.
my boyfriend hates it, specially when i break out, as he says i look like i have blue chicken pox!
and believe it or not, so does preparation h! (yes i use it to!)
Reply:i wondered that too.. i guess pimple cream is probably better than toothpaste but it still works by drying them up not really preventing breakouts or anything
Reply:You%26#039;re better off using that skin-colored cream that dries them up.
Reply:Well alot of products work for several purposes. If they changed the label to pimple cream then what would you brush your teeth with? lol Anyway, toothpase does work to draw out the stuff in a pimple but it has to be either the gel or the paste only (dont remember which one, sorry) and it only works on a certain kind of pimple. Just be careful getting toothpaste near your eyes. It will burn like crazy.
Reply:Because real pimple products contain Salacylic Acid or Benzoyl Peroxide and toothpaste is far less effective in most cases.
Reply:toothpaste does work on pimples , however it drys out the skin with prolonged use , unlike Faisal cleansers
Reply:hmmm...ahhahah..got 2 try that..ahhah.....so your pimples needs flouride..ahahahh

Toothpaste on zit and it exploded into a huge red thing?
I popped a zit on my forehead and right after I put some toothpaste on it. When I washed the toothpaste off there was a huge red bruise-looking thing on my head. This happened three weeks ago and it is still there. Why did this happen and how can i get rid of it?
Toothpaste on zit and it exploded into a huge red thing?
My guess is that the zit and it%26#039;s related redness have nothing to do with the toothpaste. Sounds like you bruised the heck out of your forehead.
You may have scarred it because I can%26#039;t imagine a zit bruise still being there 3 wks later.
Get some proactive.
Reply:Try WD40.
Reply:by putting toothpaste on after busting zit, it probably got irritated from toothpaste and got inflamed. gotta just wait till bruise goes away.
Reply:It doesn%26#039;t have anything to do with the toothpaste.
How to fix it:
1. Stop popping your zits, it%26#039;s disgusting and they%26#039;ll go away faster if you don%26#039;t pop them.
2. Get proactiv, or neutrogena oil free acne wash.
Reply:Generally speaking, it%26#039;s a bad idea to dig so deep that you bruise yourself.

ToothPaste Question Info Plz???
I heard that some of the ToothPaste that was made from China and around those area had Pestisides in it. It was on the news.
I live in Oklahoma. Did anyone else here this? I checked my ToothPaste and they are made in the USA. Plz share any info you might have on this situation. Thanks
ToothPaste Question Info Plz???
yes. I heard about this. It was mostly toothpaste that you find at dollar stores, ie CHEAP toothpaste.
You can go to http://www.recalls.gov/ any time you hear about recalls or things like the dog food poisonings and check out the specific brands or what have you.
Good luck!
Keep brushing. ;)

Keep this mentality for all your personal products too. I went through and did a house sweep and threw away everything made in China as even shampoos, skin creams and makeup are going to soak into your bloodstream via the skin. Be careful these days. Ban Chinese products in your home and all should be well. I realize it is a bit more expensive to do this but it will in the long run be cheaper than paying the medical bills for what that Chinese sh*t will do to you

The state of Georgia has pulled more than 860,000 tubes of Chinese-made toothpaste containing potentially lethal chemicals from prisons holding adult and youth inmates, and hospitals housing the mentally ill and developmentally disabled.
None of the three state agencies using the 1.5 ounce tubes of the %26quot;Springfresh%26quot; brand containing diethylene glycol — a poisonous chemical used in antifreeze and as a solvent — are reporting illnesses resulting from its use. State purchasing officials said Friday it has been contracting with the Washington state supplier since 2002, but were unsure how long the Chinese toothpaste has been bought or used.

Can I sue my toothpaste company for the erosion that occurred from using their whitening toothpaste?
I used a particular brand of whitening toothpaste for a few months and now my enamel is damaged and my teeth are eroding at an unhealthily rapid pace for my age (21). This toothpaste advertised that the formula was strong (waaaay too strong in actuality), but safe (which it wasn%26#039;t). If I got proof from my dentist that the erosion ocurred all of the sudden and at an unusually rapid pace for my age, would I have grounds for a legal suit? The problem is, I don%26#039;t have proof that I used that particlar toothpaste for the said amount of time. Do I have anything to build a case with?
Can I sue my toothpaste company for the erosion that occurred from using their whitening toothpaste?
NO!!!!!
You are exactly the problem America has right now. It%26#039;s lazy people like you that we need to get rid of that think they can get a couple extra bucks by sueing big corporations. You get in a car accident that YOU caused, so you sue Ford for an unsafe car. You get fat, so you sue McDonalds for making you fat!!! You trip on some ice in a Wal-Mart parking lot because you weren%26#039;t paying attention, so you SUE THEM!!!! PLEASE GOD DO NOT SUE THEM!! You even state yourself that you do not have proof. God, I hope you get a conservative judge.
Reply:no. %26quot;caveat emptor%26quot;.....buyer beware.

Reply:No proof no case so sorry.
Now if you were to have that particular toothpaste and could prove that you used it you may have a case.
You could have the toothpaste analized by a lab to see if it is toxic and if it is then you might be able to make them remove it from the market place.
Other than that No you don%26#039;t have a case without the proof than you used their product.

Toothpaste allergy?
I am curious if anyone else has had this problem. Any time I use a baking soda toothpaste, the corners of my lips get very chapped, dry, and painful, even if I only use it once or twice. After a lot of trial and error, I am pretty sure its the toothpaste causing it and not a lipstick or something like that. Has anyone heard of this before?
This is more a curiosity, since if I avoid that brand I am fine, but I think it is so weird.
Toothpaste allergy?
I had a problem like that with soap. The doctor told me to use Ivory. I havent out grown it either. Whenever I fo to a place without Ivory soap I breakout.

Toothpaste made it worse. now what?
i had a pimple next to my nose, so i went on yahoo answers to find out the best way to get rid of it. i saw that most people had said to put toothpaste on it over night, and it will be gone by morning. well, when i woke up, i looked in the mirrior, and saw that my pimple was gone, but i now had this blister in the spot that i had put the toothpaste. it looks horrid! now what???
Toothpaste made it worse. now what?
diluted hydrogen peroxide or clearisil cream to clean pores
toothpaste on spots whatever next
any further spots just use a pore cleansing cream after washing face so pores will be open
Reply:Lime juice, tomato slices, home made packs can be used for treating acne. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for pimples at http://arzi.org

Toothpaste Taste?
I brush my teeth every morning before breakfast (after a shower) and then eat breakfast. I hate the taste of food during breakfast because of the toothpaste- orange juice tastes acidic and hard to drink. Toast also tastes tainted with toothpaste. Any suggestions on ways to get rid of this taste faster (other than not brushing my teeth in the morning)?
Toothpaste Taste?
I also think you should wait to brush until after you eat, but your situation may keep you from it. I will tell you this, when I was in 7th grade, my science teacher xplained this to us. He said that if you drink milk after brushing, it will change the ph levels in your mouth and neutralize the taste buds. I have tried it and it does work. Also, if you are using a mint flavored toothpaste, try the flavored kinds, like lemon or orange, I have found that they don%26#039;t leave as bad a taste!

Toothpaste on breakouts?
I heard toothpaste works on breakouts.
So my guestion is..
1.Does it really work?
2. How long do I leave it on for?
3. Or just directions to use toothpaste on ym face,
I don%26#039;t want to breakout even more!

Toothpaste on breakouts?
Well, it depends on what type of skin you have. Some people will claim it works and some people don%26#039;t. For me, I have dry skin and I tend to break out a lot. So I use it, because it burns for me, I tend to take it off real fast. My acne would go away in a day or two. Therefore I don%26#039;t think anyone can tell you how effective this stuff is until you try it.
Reply:apply it all over the break out skin then wait for ten minutes and then wash it with warm water
Reply:Personally, don%26#039;t try it. I%26#039;ve tried it before because I had major breakouts, but it really DOESN%26#039;T work. Of course, I%26#039;ve never tried it long enough, but if I were you, I wouldn%26#039;t waste my time. Try some Clean N%26#039; Clear face wash. It WAY more effective than...toothpaste. Also, it leaves your face all sticky and for hours you smell like Crest. It helps your teeth; only your teeth.
Reply:really?! I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THAT!
Reply:i heard you leave it on a blemish over night. iv never tried it but i heard it works.
Reply:It works fine. Dries out the zit. Put it on before bed and wash off in the morning. A little dab is just fine.
Reply:use something like crest the white stuff, not gel, dab it on , let it dry, leave it overnight.. worked for me...
Reply:Toothpaste often contains menthol, which can help dry out a pimple. But other common toothpaste ingredients can also irritate the skin. So its a catch 22. There are much better over-the-counter options than toothpaste, Try some of the on the spot treatments. Like neutrogena.
If you must try toothpaste. Make sure its the white one and not the gel. Also do not spread it all over your face, just directly on the pimple or zit that you are trying to decrease. You will see a difference its best to do it at night before going to bed.
Reply:yes it sometimes does actually work - because it drys the pimples out. it may not be the best solution because it can irritate your skin and make it very red and blotchy!
best thing for breakouts drinking lots of water!
Reply:does it really work?
Reply:It works ONLY if you use the paste kind of toothpaste, not the gel. Basically, just cheap, general toothpaste. It can be used to dry out oily pimples. Put it on before bed, so it%26#039;s on overnight. I tend to think you could get the same results with a salycilic acid astringent, though.
Reply:well well. i have it on right now, and this is my first time with it on. I have no idea how long to leave it on, so im going to guestimate, 35 mins. or so. I suggest the minty kind of tooth paste because i can feel it all tingly! ha. well i suggest just trying it because if it can kill the bacteria on your teeth, it can kill the bacteria on your face. You should also make a honey mask, well actually just put a layer of honey on your face leave it on for ten mins, then wash it off.And drink lots and lots of water, 10 cups a day.
Good luck!

Good luck!
Toothpaste on car window scratch?
hello,
is it true toothpaste can be used to lighten up light scratches on a car windscreen? i%26#039;ve heard it works...is there any specific toothpaste, technique etc?
i hate the scratch, right in the way of driver%26#039;s side.
Toothpaste on car window scratch?
Polishing with toothpaste will work on slight scratches as it is an abrasive and when rubbed in wears the surrounding area down to the level of the scratch without scratching the area in itself.
Jewellers rouge works on the same principle.
On the other hand, most of the windscreen repairers do it professionally for you - but it all works on the same principle of mild abrasion.
Reply:How would toothpaste work? Whats next, using tapioca to fix dents?
You can try a product called rain-x, what it does is fills in the edged out parts of your windshield to make it smooth, and repels rain. But I%26#039;ve used it on my car and it makes my chips and scratches less noticable. Not by much but helps.

Do you or your cat use toothpaste from China?
DON%26#039;T! It can be deadly!
The FDA is now warning US consumers to avoid any toothpaste and PET TOOTHPASTE made in China and issued an import alert to prevent toothpaste containinG the poisonous chemical %26quot;diethylene glycol%26quot; (DEG), also known as “diglycol” or “diglycol stearate.” from entering the US. One shipment has already been found.
DEG is used in antifreeze and as a solvent. DEG has been known to be deadly to cats in particular. Pets may be drawn to these products due to their flavor.
Consumers should examine toothpaste products for labeling that says the product is made in China. FDA suggests that consumers throw away toothpaste with that labeling. FDA is concerned that these products may contain “diethylene glycol,”

i bought some tea from china and am nervous to drink it........
i think we should boycott all products from there until they are proven safe again....
everything regarding pet foods that is poisonous is from china, i receive the fda notices daily......
now it is also in some type of edible lily from there...
what the heck???????????
in answer to your question, no, we dont, but thanks for the info
Reply:I read about this and the toothpaste is for people and not for cats. The FDA does have a port alert out for the product and I hope this ends soon because they are the ones that had the wheat flour and labeled it and put wheat gluten instead. I don%26#039;t think the US should be getting products from China because they have NO rules about how they set up their products and how they make their food. It needs to stop now. I am getting tried of the china thing that they have NO rules and they need to get their act together before it gets worse. China got caught sending products that were rejected at the port and they sent it back thinking that The FDA would not catch it. We need to STOP THIS.
Reply:After the pet food recall fiasco it is highly unlikely that I will buy anything made in China

Toothpaste and the brush..?? what is the best way to do it?
hi there,
had a conversation with my daughter about brushing teeth..when i was a boy, i was taught to wet the brush(or clean it) apply the toothpaste..then again wet the brush and toothpaste..!!! my daughter was mistified with this..as she has been taught just to do it all dry(she doesnt live with me..!!)....
what would you say is the best way to apply and brush..??
Toothpaste and the brush..?? what is the best way to do it?
I hate doing it dry because I feel that you have no moisture in your mouth and the toothpaste is too sticky. I%26#039;m asian american so I was taught to rinse your mouuth with water, wet the toothbrush, apply toothpaste and brush.
Reply:Watever way its done, wat matters is tat ur daughter is able handle her brush n brush her teeth well. so it would b gud if u can teach her how to brush thn to go abt wondering which way shuld it b wif the brush n toothpaste. n make sure shez brushin atleast twice a day, most importantly at nite b4 she goes to bed. cos at nite time, the salivary flow is less n there is no cleanin action by the cheeks or tongue. goin to bed without brushin can cos tooth decay as the food particles remain in the mouth n the bacteria tat cause tooth decay would thrive on it. so make sure she brush clean b4 she goes to bed everyday.

Toothpaste To Remove Screen Scratches?
I just got my brand new psp on friday and it has some scratches on it already! I FREAKED OUT!! I read on the internet that you can use toothpaste to remove most of the scratches... Is it true? Does it matter what kind of toothpaste?
Toothpaste To Remove Screen Scratches?
Yeah I wouldn%26#039;t suggest toothpaste because the paste would ruin the keys and the brush (if you%26#039;re going to use one) will scratch the skin more. I suggest that if you just bought the PSP then I would mail the psp back and let them give you a new one. It works if you didn%26#039;t scrtch it and it came like that. but if you scratched it I would try to softly use a coth and rubb on the screen, then add a bit of a window spray, last get a travler%26#039;s case and prevent more scratches
Reply:i know that toothpaste sometimes works with DVDs but im not sure with PSPs. we used rubbing alchohol to remove scratches on our DVD. after that the movie worked fine. so i suggest try using it on ur psp. but keep it away form the keys or any exposed wiring.
Reply:Just a little.
If they are small scratches, then it will make it less visible.
Don%26#039;t use too much paste and use a soft cloth to clean up the screen.
And for the brand, just make it minty fresh, like mine :)
Reply:Well toothpaste has small abrasives in it that’s how it cleans your teeth, and sometimes scratches. Try it first in a small area with a soft cloth and a little toothpaste. It is probably better to use a car or paint polish that way you know it has less of a chance hurting the screen. also make sure you don’t rub too hard or you can burn the plastic.

Toothpaste that fixes worn away enamel???
whats the names of some toothpastes that fixes enamel ...
like when you drink diet soda the acid erodes your enamel ....
well i heard about a toothpaste that restores your enamel.... whats it called!?
Toothpaste that fixes worn away enamel???
Any toothpaste with fluoride can help to remineralize enamel and make it more resistant against acid. But, it%26#039;s effect is only minimal and over the long term. No toothpaste can restore significant or severe enamel wear. And you need to stop drinking so much acidic drinks to prevent the problem from getting worse.
Sensodyne only reduces the sensitivity due to exposed dentin or root structure. Dentin is the yellowish layer underneath enamel (in the crown of the tooth) or cementum (in the root). But if you don%26#039;t have sensitivity, then there is no point using Sensodyne. If you have sensitivity due to exposed dentin, you should see your dentist.
Reply:You could use sensodyne. It doesn%26#039;t exactly restore the enamel, but it does help. The dentist reccomended it to my parents.
Reply:There used to be a tooth paste called %26#039;enamalon%26#039; but i think it is called something else now. sensodyne is to help with sensitivity but i would ask your dentist.
Reply:Sensodyne Pronamel is probably what you%26#039;ve heard about - it%26#039;s relatively new and it%26#039;s advertised as helping to repair acid erosion of the teeth.

Toothpaste / mouthwash after wisdom tooth extraction?
How long can one begin brushing with toothpaste after having all 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed? Also, is mouthwash recommended and if so, what kind/brand?
I have just been brushing with water and rinsing/syringing with salt water as I didn%26#039;t want to get toothpaste in the sockets.
Toothpaste / mouthwash after wisdom tooth extraction?
I just had a wisdom tooth removed about 2 weeks ago. It%26#039;s okay to use toothpaste, just be very gentle in the area of the socket. I asked my oral surgeon about mouthwash %26amp; she said it actually inhibits healing, so wait to use mouthwash for a few weeks. She also said not to use products like Orajel or Anbusol because they inhibit healing as well.
Reply:keep rinsing your mouth out with salt water, for approx, 2 wk,s as your gums start to heal, mouth wash is OK ,but remember it has alcohol in it and it might burn or sting.
Reply:the next day you can brush your wound gently with or without toothpaste
extra information|:
the day you extrate the teeth...
you should rinse with warm salt water frequently
don%26#039;t spit the saliva %26amp; blood out %26amp; no smoking, drink wine,do vigorous exercise for whole day

Reply:Yes that is what%26#039;s supposed to happen when you put toothpaste on pimples. I do it all the time.
The toothpaste is working properly because the pimples are going away, but it leaves behind redness. To get rid of that, put a couple of eye redness drops on the pimples and let it soak into your skin.
Once the eye drops have dried, try to conceal the rest of the pimple as best as you can.
Hope this helped! =)
Reply:NOOOO! I did that once and i broke out really bad. On the tyra show the editior and cheif of allure said that, that will really aggitate your skin. Try crushing an asprin and putting it on your pimple, or putting visine on it to take help with the redness. Hope that helps!

Toothpaste on pimples?
I got a friend who tried to get rid of her pimples bby putting toothpaste on it,..in 2 days the pimple was gone, but on the place where the pimples is on and where she had put the toothpaste, there was patch of redness...what happen? it is normal or what can she do?
Toothpaste on pimples?
idk why the redness was caused...she probably has sensitive skin and the toothpaste irritated or over-dried it. i DO know that if you put Visine (a brand of eye drops to get rid of bloodshot eyes) on a pimple, it will help the redness go away quickly.

Toothpaste that reveals cavities?
I remember seeing a commercial with kids about a toothpaste that reveals cavities. If you brush with it and wherever there is a blue stain on your teeth, it means that you have cavities. Does anyone know the name of the toothpaste?
Toothpaste that reveals cavities?
NO THERE ISNT, BUT THERE ARE THINGS THAT CAN REVEAL WHERE PLAQUE IS.
Reply:It doesn%26#039;t show cavities. It shows tarter that still needs more brushing. You are suppose to keep brushing until the blue is gone. It%26#039;s mostly used to teach youngsters how to brush and how long to brush. I don%26#039;t brush the teeth I have left. I scrub them.
Reply:Listerine has a children%26#039;s mouthwash out that coats the plaque on the teeth and turns it blue. It%26#039;s supposed to make it more fun for kids to brush - almost like a game to get all the blue off - and makes sure that they brush more tooth surfaces to get them clean. I don%26#039;t think that there is a toothpaste available for this purpose, but you may be able to get disclosing tablets from your dentist or pharmacy.

I bought a new toothpaste, Colgate. Used it and experienced a burning sensation in my mouth, and after i rinsed out, my whole mouth began feeling burns, numbness at the top of the mouth (what%26#039;s that called?), and bleeding from parts where the teeth sit.
And Now i see that I%26#039;m getting that white lining of the gums at the bottom front teeth.
Here%26#039;s the thing, i brushed my teeth once a day for a week before I bought the Colgate.
Is it me not brushing my teeth twice a day and not flossing or is it the Colgate Toothpaste thats making my Mouth in terrible pain.....

Toothpaste, Results - Mouth Hurting %26amp; Gums Bleeding - ???
bleeding gums may be a symptom of a more serious gum problem. you must pay extra attention with your oral health hygiene. it is possible that your bleeding gums are caused by your new toothpaste. some toothpaste may contain harsh ingredients that may cause irritation or damage to the teeth and gums such as bleeding and swelling. bleeding gums may also caused by over brushing of tooth, change your toothbrush with soft bristles. brushing and flossing regularly prevents bacteria build up that causes gum problems. i suggest that you use natural oral health care products for they do not contain harsh ingredients that can irritate your gums. observe also a healthy diet such as eating vegetables and fruits that contain high level of vitamins for a healthy oral health. it is also important that you see your dentist at least twice in every year for professional cleaning and recommendations. for more information regarding bleeding gums and oral health care visit http://www.themouthdoctor.ca
Reply:Go see dentist and he will give you one for sensetive theet. So simple. and don%26#039;t brush so hard on your theet. Often but not hard.
Reply:it wasn%26#039;t the toothpaste, if you neglect your mouth in that fashion, and then suddenly brush, you can expect exactly that to happen. Get a softer toothbrush, use baking soda and water to brush your teeth until the gums heal, then use the toothpaste again. That, or get periodontal disease and end up with dentures inside five years, your choice.
Reply:Doubt, it would be the toothpaste that did this. maybe you brushed too hard. Do you have plaque build up on your teeth next to the gums? this will be why they are bleeding. See if you can get some Corsydol or some form of antiseptic mouthwash like Listerine. This should sort it out.
Reply:I have to agree with galinaE. You might be brushing too hard. Other than that it may be that you have sensitive teethe. But what you describe usually happens to me if I have been brushing too hard because I would be trying to get my teeth as white as I possibly could.
Reply:There are different ingredients in different toothpaste, and it could be that you can%26#039;t tolerate one of the ingredients. I have a dental colleague that cannot use Colgate toothpaste and has the same reaction that you do. Change toothpaste to Crest or Arm %26amp; Hammer. If you still have to same reaction, contact your dentist.

Toothpaste on pimples [details, please]?
so, i heard that if u put toothpaste on ur pimples, they will dry them out. so do you just put tthe toothpaste on ur pimples for like 5 mins then wash them out? details please! thanks/
Toothpaste on pimples [details, please]?
Personally that has never worked for me. Try something with benzoyl peroxide in it. But if you are determined to do the toothpaste thing here is what you do: put a bit of toothpaste on any zits you want gone before bed, then go sleep and in the morning wash off the toothpaste. Wahla, they are gone. It might not work though, like it didn%26#039;t for me. Well, HOPE I HELPED!!!
Reply:Put it on and leave it overnight. Dries em out
Reply:leave it on over night....and only use crest toothpaste...the white kind
Reply:yea they make them dry out and no u need to keep it for longer than that ....like over nite
Reply:I%26#039;ve heard toothpaste is not good for your skin and may leave a scar, I would ask around before I used it.

Reply:This works. Put the toothpaste on the zit before you go to bed at night. It looks really funny unless you rub it in a whole lot. And if you rub it in really well it doesn%26#039;t work as good. Leave a small minimal amount that is still visible when you are done applying it. Your zit will be much better in the morning. Guaranteed.
The toothpaste is best when it%26#039;s the old fashioned paste kind and not the new gels. It doesn%26#039;t have to be Crest. Any paste type of toothpaste will work just fine for you. The gels don%26#039;t work as well.
I have used this trick for years and it never scarred anything. It does NOT cause scars.
Reply:I do not think that this is true, in fact I think it is a huge myth. I think I remember this being told untrue on an episode of Oprah or the Tyra Banks show. Hope you find the miracle cure and pass it along! :)
Reply:You already have the details . . . put on for 5 min , what else is there ?
It is toothpaste so you know it is not harmful . . .
try it , worst thing that can happen is , it won%26#039;t work .
Reply:Drys them out, then if you pick them off they leave a scar for a very long time.
I wouldn%26#039;t do that if I were you. Just leave the pimple it will heal on its own.
I have tried toothpaste and the pimple dried out and I was tempted to pick it off when I did there is still a scar on my nose.
So I wouldnt if I were you. And it hurts sometimes to my skin. Its burns. Just leave the pimple to heal and it will be gone.
Reply:Hello, Sorry that is an old wives tale. It will not help putting toothpaste on your pimple. Crush and aspirin and make a paste. Than apply to the pimple. Leave it on for 20Min%26#039;s. Wash it of and repeat it again the next day for 20Min%26#039;s. Make a new patch of paste for your second days use. All the best,

Reply:you are right. you only dab it on pimples because it drys them out and makes the red less visible.
but if you use it as a wash every morning or night your face will get really dry and really red from irritation.
== hope i helped
tell your friend to buy a face wash and wash it once in the morning and once at night. then if she uses tooth paste, only use it when the zit is at a %26quot;head%26quot;(when the white part is kinda showing on the zit..eww i know) and it wil take out the white and make it less red.
hope i helped
Reply:yah i%26#039;ve heard of that. a friend told me her secret to a flawless skin is toothpaste she puts on her face like mask and let it stay for a few minute till dry and wash off. But I don%26#039;t believe her, and I never attempted to do it to myself.
Reply:That is why toothpaste are so named because they are applied to the tooth and definitely not on the face. For those who experiment toothpaste for facial purposes, then I hope for the positive thing. Toothpastes are mainly for teeth whitening purposes. The brand that had satisfied me with the real essence of a toothpaste is a teeth whitening kit from http://www.maximumteethwhitening.com/. It is really one of a kind.

Toothpaste Masks??
toothpaste dries the zit overnight, for me though. i suggest you put some just on the zit and not all over your face. and use the white one. good luck !!
Reply:try it. if it doesn%26#039;t, then get one that is white. or you can mix cinnamon powder %26amp; pure honey (equal parts) and put it on your zit overnight. wash with lukewarm water in the morning. this should cure your zit from its roots so it will not reoccur. Report It

Hope that helps x
Reply:you can use toothpaste to treat a pimple, because it dries the spot out. for that reason, you definitely wouldnt want to use it all over your face as a mask, it wont be good for your skin and it%26#039;ll dry it all out. just use it on small spots where you have acne and wash it off once it dries.

Toothpaste burn?
i put toothpaste on overnight to get rid of acne and when i got up where i put toothpaste it got burnt
Toothpaste burn?
Then don%26#039;t use that toothpaste, when putting it on acne your only supposed to do a test spot first to make sure it doesn%26#039;t irritate your skin, also it depends on what kind you are putting on, you are not supposed to use the gel kind, just regular toothpaste, colgate was the brand I read somewhere to use.
Reply:thats correct u was suppose to just leave it on for a little while not over night

Toothpaste Questions?
OK. I%26#039;ve been looking through the skin section, and I%26#039;ve heard toothpaste can get rid of pimples. I have some pimples my self so I was just wondering:
1. If this really works?
2. How long the treatment would take to get rid of pimples.
3. If it works, what type of toothpaste is best (keep in mind I have sensitive skin)?
Toothpaste Questions?
It helps a little bit, but it doesn%26#039;t work WELL.
It can help a little bit to dry the pimple out, but it does not work nearly as well as other products. It%26#039;s better than nothing, though (it%26#039;s good in a pinch).Try products such as Clearasil cream that are made for acne. If you do want to try using toothpaste on your acne, use a plain ol%26#039; white paste (none of that gel-type paste). Wash it off after a few minutes. You need to be washing your face regularly anyway to manage how oily your face gets.
Reply:Colgate but highly not recommended becasue it has oil I suggest you put nothing but soap and water once a day if it gets worse well nothing just drink alot of olive oil taspoon per day and it will go away in a week try it .
Reply:There is an acetone paste for acne that is sold over the counter in pharmacies it works for me overnight and i think is better than toothpaste.
Reply:I don%26#039;t like using toothpaste to treat pimples because mint irritates my skin.
I prefer to use Desert Essence Blemish Stick as a spot treatment.
Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask has benzoyl peroxide %26amp; clay. It works best as a mask %26amp; can be used where needed.
These home remedies can be used as facial masks or spot treatments:
Aspirin will promote cell turnover %26amp; keep pores clear. Crush 4 - 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask. Or mix them with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask or aloe vera gel instead of water. Apply a thin layer to your clean face %26amp; let dry for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off w/ cool water.
Apply a thin layer of plain milk of magnesia, let it dry for 15-20 minutes, rinse off w/ cool water %26amp; a clean wash cloth. Plain milk of magnesia will absorb excess oil %26amp; temporarily tighten pores.
Reply:I never heard of anyone using toothpaste to cure pimples. o.O
Reply:Treat pimples - What I found to work best is when you have any amount of pimples you should steam your face. This opens up the pores. Then wash your face with a good soap that will not dry out your face. If your face is dry your pimples can get irritated and look worse. Then use a little bit of rubbing alcohol. Next, splash cold water on your face. This will close your pores and will help keep dirt out of them. If you want to you can put a little bit more rubbing alcohol on. There is a more effective and immediate solution though.
Use a hot compress on it (a washcloth, sponge, or anything that will allow you to apply moist heat to the area), and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, rinse it with warm water, blot off the excess water with a clean towel, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.
And use Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash 60 Second Mask Scrub:

Toothpaste and Cds?
ok so many people believe that toothpaste can restore Cds back to life some just think its stupid.........
ok so the question is does toothpaste really work?
someone asnwer....can it take scratches out, and is there a trick on doin this
Toothpaste and Cds?
The best way to restore a scratched Cd is using an electric cd cleaner. You can find one of these at your locay Best Buy or Circuit City. They work.
The only trick I know (for a dirty Cd) is rubbing the Cd on a smooth cloth or shirt in an up-and-down OR side-to-side motion.
Reply:there is no trick
it does not work. its way too thick and pasty and you are just going to have to use something else to get the toothpaste off.

Question regarding toothpaste and faces?
I use Colgate Total Whitening Toothpaste. I was just spontaneously wondering: if the toothpaste is %26quot;whitening%26quot;, then does that mean you can use toothpaste and put it all over your face, to whiten your face?
Question regarding toothpaste and faces?
i dont think thats a good idea, its too harsh for your face.
trust me I%26#039;ve tried that once in high school while experimenting with my gal pals :P we used toothpaste as a facial wash and scrub for a few days. at first it felt great, fresh and tingly but after a while our skin got really irritated and our pores seemed to get bigger!
if you want a homemade whitening remedy, try milk and lemon juice mask. be sure to moisturize afterwards because lemon juice can be very drying, although the milk does help in locking in moisture :)
Reply:huh?
don%26#039;t know about that, but if you put (non-gel) toothpaste on a pimple overnight it usually makes it come to a head or go away
Reply:haha your funny i want to know too.
Reply:Not really a great idea. There is so much sulfate in toothpaste that it will dry your skin terribly. If you are having problems w/ discolouration there are many products that will help this. Try something w/ hydro quinine or vitamin c in the ingredient listings. Murad has some great products %26amp; so does Exuviance.
Reply:Most whitening toothpastes either work by abrasion or chemically whitening the enamel. The chemicals used in toothpaste are not intended to be used on the skin and could result in adverse effects. (Such as drying out the skin terribly.) Short answer: No.
Reply:Love the color of your own skin!
I%26#039;m pink for god%26#039;s sake.... PINK. But it suits me...
Toothpaste will just make you look pink too from the irritation.

Bugs around toothpaste and toothbrush?
I%26#039;m using a natural toothpaste and I%26#039;m having problems with attracting little flies around the cap of the toothpaste and on the toothbrush itself (ew!). Is there anything that I can do to naturally rid of them? Would soaking the brush in some hotwater help, along with the end cap to the toothpaste? I have been keeping the rest of the bathroom clean, so this is driving me nuts!
Bugs around toothpaste and toothbrush?
Put your toothpaste cap on, and I would put a cap on your toothbrush they make cases, or put it in the medicing cabinet in a cup, or you can put it in a plastic bag, like a sandwich bag, that%26#039;s all I can really think of, hope it helps (:
Reply:there must be a somethin in the natural paste that is attracting. through those away to avoid any bacteria and infection to be on the safe side. like the other user said, use a sanwich bag, medicine cabinet, or small cabinet bag to keep your toothpaste, brush and floss in.... u know the small ones u normally carry when u travel
Reply:buy a new toothbrush and a diferent brand of toothpaste, or use baking soda on your teeth.
Reply:I put our toothbrushes in the dishwasher once a week and while they are in the bath room I have a plastic cup container and everyday I rinse it out and put a splash of listerine in the bottom.. To keep them clean.. You can also buy plastic cap for your toothbrush.. .I use regular toothpaste and dip it baking soda and brush... I hope this helps good luck

Acne problem...toothpaste?
my skin has has had a major outbreak this week, and i read that if u wash ur face in toothpaste that it works really well, but i dont know what kind of toothpaste to use. i heard the whitening toothpaste causes more acne and that u shouldnt use it, what kind should i use then? (and please dont say the non gel kind, because i have no idea what people mean when they say that) thank you
Acne problem...toothpaste?
I could be wrong, but my understanding is that you only use toothpaste as a spot treatment. And, I think it helps with the redness more than anything (I%26#039;ve also heard it works to diminish the red in hickeys). Anyway, if you buy some regular old Pepsident toothpaste, it could work.
FYI - gel toothpaste is usually labeled as gel and is somewhat translucent, vs a non gel toothpaste which is usually solid white. Aquafresh has both, gel and regular, the green is the gel and the white isn%26#039;t.
Reply:see a dermatologist tooshpaste will just try out your face or go to the drugstore and buy some acne wash and drick lots of water
Reply:Actually I%26#039;ve heard of people just dabbing a small spot of toothpaste on a zit, and that by morning, the zit should be gone. I%26#039;ve never heard of washing one%26#039;s face in toothpaste. A co worker of mine tried this and swears it worked for her.
I hope this helps.

Reply:try mouthwash..like the listerine..just the regular one and use a q tip and dab it on your pimples..i honestly like to just use lava soap when my face breaks out... that soap is awesome !
Reply:Please do not use toothpaste to wash your face.
you can use it to spot treat if you are in a bind. But get some face wash from the drug store. Neutrogena has some good lines with salacylic acid in it. That will help the breakouts.
Reply:Toothpaste can work. My personal favorite home remedy is to wash my face with a mixture of half rubbing alcohol and half lemon juice.
Reply:You use just regular tooth paste( its white paste, gel is blue and also comes in green )...And you don%26#039;t wash your face with it your supposed to put a dab on the zit and then put a bandaid on it overnight...Just look for a regular tooth paste that doesn%26#039;t say gel or whitening, actually the arm and hammer baking soda tooth paste would probaly be a good one....hope this helps
Reply:I%26#039;ve never heard of washing the face with toothpaste.

Dab a bit on the problem pimples, leave on over night, and it should dry out.
If that doesn%26#039;t work, try it again.
I%26#039;ve also heard that putting a dab of deoderant on the problem spot and leaving it on over night helps.

Pimple and toothpaste?
ok i had this red pimple right above my upper lips. today i put some toothpaste on it and a few hours ago i washed it off and scratched off some skin off the pimple. i tried to squeeze the white stuff out but nothing came out except puss. now im going to sleep and wondering if i should still put toothpaste on it over night. i want it to go away. when i put the toothpaste on the pimple it stings a bit.
Pimple and toothpaste?
I%26#039;ve never had anything happen with toothpaste. I think it%26#039;s far better to purchase a pimple cream with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Those are actually medicines, which will kill the bacteria most likely causing the pimple. I like Neutrogna%26#039;s Acne on the Spot (Walmart, Target, Walgreens for about $5), because it%26#039;s got the medicine in it, but isn%26#039;t super irritating and drying (to cut down on the red, peeling, itchy part).
Good luck.
Reply:Wait until morning and see what it looks like then.
Reply:Never squeeze a pimple, this just causes other pimples. I always put toothpaste on pimples overnight. I never put it on during the day. I just cleanse and moisturize as usual before I go to bed, then put a little dab of toothpaste on it. It should look a lot better in the morning.
Reply:I would put toothpaste on it over night. that way to just make sure it is all the way gone for the next day. and that way u dont have to worry about it as much..
Reply:Toothpaste dries it out. Put it on overnight (even though the skin is open) and wash off with a damp facecloth in the morning. If it is dry, it will heal faster. From then one, peroxyde or rubbing alcohol will keep the fluid from pooling and help the pimple heal faster.
Reply:my stepmom always used to put toothpaste on a pimple overnight. When she woke up the next day the redness went away. Basically, the toothpaste reduces the puffiness %26amp; swelling. Just be careful when sleeping not to roll onto your face. Good luck!
Reply:u need to leave the toothpaste on overnight..it need that much time to dry out. When u wash off the TP , leave the pimple be...don%26#039;t touch it.
Reply:dont put toothpaste on your pimples it can make your pimple worse. just wash your face everyday.
Reply:Sorry about the pimple but it%26#039;s a part of life I don%26#039;t know why people like P.Diddy and others be lieing about they are preserving their sexy yeah for the commercials and until they get that makeup on but yeah but make sure it isn%26#039;t too much because then it will try your skin out when you felt it just coming you should have began using it but it is this thing called Clear-Zit it is a dollar and it really work but if it drops on you clothing it bleaches it out I guess that is how strong it is...It will go away...SMILE

Zits and toothpaste?
recently ive had a ton of zits!!! does toothpaste work? how much do you put on, just a dab? i dont have any white toothpaste, only the pink gel with breath strips. how long to you keep the toothpaste in?
Zits and toothpaste?
I dont know who gave the girl above the information to put a hot needle to a blemish but please dont do that.
Make sure to always wash your make up off every night.. you can use toothpaste but only white toothpaste.
It does not make the pimple go away it just takes the redness out. Your best bet is to get some zit cream. And dont pop it until it comes to a head!
Reply:It as to be the white toothpaste and you leave it on over night.
Reply:toothpaste ia an abrasive substance. if your using soap switch to a medicated face wash. diet age genetics and your surroundings are giving u pimples.
Reply:Only overnight, and the white paste is better. It works because it has Menthol in it, an Essential Oil. Menthol cools the skin and lessens the redness and is antibacterial. I prefer to use Tea Tree Oil for pimples, it has good antibacterial properties and you can also find it at you local drug store, 10$ Canadian, but the bottle will last a long time. I usually find it close to the Epsom salts. 1 or 2 drops will do for your whole face. Hope that helps.
Reply:I%26#039;ve used toothpaste to fill nail holes in drywall (dries like spackle)... can%26#039;t see where that would help your skin really. Try a good astringent before bedtime after you wash with regular soap.
Reply:Dont do it! I did this about a month ago and I ended up with a huge red burn on my nose as well as a big chunk missing from where the zit was. The toothpaste burns your skin and may force a zit that isnt ready to pop to pop, leaving a huge hole where the pus used to be. If you must get rid of your zits, apply a warm washcloth to the zit for a couple minutes to draw the pus up, then sterilize a needle(hold it in the flame of a lighter for a few seconds)and poke a small hole in the center of the zit. Then lightly apply pressure to the sides of the zit(dont squeeze it, that will drive the bacteria down further giving you a worse blemish)until all the pus comes out. Then wipe it with a cool cloth. I dont reccoment doing this reight before you go out as it leaves a nasty red mark for about a hour. However, trust me once the hours over your zit will look MUCH better. I recommend you leave them be though, as popping them can leave scars.
Reply:Yeah - it has to be the white paste kind. I don%26#039;t know why. Put a pea size amount on the affected area and then sleep with it on....wash it off in the morning.

Does putting toothpaste on your zits really help?
I%26#039;ve heard that putting toothpaste on pimple before you sleep is suppoed to help?
Well, if it%26#039;s true how do I do it?
Like what kind of toothpaste ? Do I go to sleep with toothpaste still on my face? How much do i put on each zit?
please and thank you%26lt;3
Does putting toothpaste on your zits really help?
I read something about that in Seventeen quite a few months ago. The toothpaste doesn%26#039;t get rid of your zit, but it gets rid a lot of the redness.
It really doesn%26#039;t matter what kind you use. but I%26#039;ve heard that just plain mint was the best.
I%26#039;m pretty sure that you%26#039;re just supposed to sleep with it on, and then just wash it off in the morning.
As for size....whatever you see fits.
Reply:Put ice on them. It really helps.
Reply:In almost any toothpaste you%26#039;ll find sodium monoflurorophosphate, or simply put, some chemical version of fluoride. Fluoride prevents tooth cavities. But in the skin, fluoride typically causes more damage that it corrects. For example, medicals studies have reported that large does of fluoride could cause systemic poisoning. Though the amount of fluoride in tooth paste is less than one percent you may not want predispose yourself to risk.
If toothpaste does help acne prone skin, it%26#039;s most likely not due to the fluoride because this chemical can irritate or burn the skin and sometimes provoke skin allergies.
Reply:nope, well not for me. I tried it and went to bed with toothpaste on the left side of my face, forgot about it and slept on the left side of my face when i woke up the next morning i was all sticky an it was all over my sheets and didnt work!!
Reply:Yes it helps dry it out.I%26#039;ve used it and so has my husband.

It usually takes a few days to tell a difference.
Reply:i dont know about toothpaste, but i had bad acne when i was young and using vitamin e liquid always worked. it was a thick liquid similar to the consistancy of syrup and totally clear. i would apply it to acne before i went to bed and when i woke up the zits would be dry. it was still visible though, just a small red spot where the skin dried out but that would fade away in a few days. to be honest i wouldnt even worry about it. acne isnt a bad thing. almost everyone goes through it and it is nothing to feel bad or be ashamed about. i even dated a girl because she had a zit on her chin and i thought it made her look more attractive. as for the saying of eating chocolate giving you acne is false. i had it bad and the doctor even told me that stress is the main factor. what you eat isnt really any factor. rubbing alcohol also works great to get rid of the excess oil that causes acne but using it very often will really dry out the essential oils that you need to have in youre skin. if things get really bad go to a skin doctor. but most non serious acne clears up in a few weeks.
Reply:There is no way that toothpaste can help. In fact, it%26#039;ll probably make it worse. Go to the drug store and pick up some benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid facial cream. The best thing to do is keep your face really clean to prevent bacterial infections on your face. If it%26#039;s really that bad, then go to the dermatologist and get a topical antibiotic.
Reply:Toothpaste is mainly for teeth whitening purpose. The good choice is Maximum Teeth Whitening. Don%26#039;t regret someday your zits will get worst and you%26#039;ll blame it to using toothpaste.

Toothpaste Snatcher?
I just started a new job and i like to keep toothpaste and a toothbrush handy so i like to keep a little tube in my designated file drawer. But the other day i went to get my toothpaste it was gone this has happened twice! We joke around alot over here at work it a fun work evironment so what i want to do is to get another tube of toothpaste and put something that taste horrible in it without discoloring the toothpaste. But i dont know what to put? I need help for some good ideas. nothing to make them sick just groosed out!
Toothpaste Snatcher?
I would recommend Desitin Creamy (diaper rash medicine) or Preparation H Creamy! lol Hope you catch them!
Reply:Rather than ruining another tube of toothpaste, walk around all day with some of those fake ugly teeth, like the kind at Halloween you know. If someone comments on your teeth just state that this is what happens when you dint brush your teeth.

Why does toothpaste fix CD and DVD scratches?
I bought a used Tiger Woods XBOX 360 video game a couple days ago, and found a couple scratches on it, but didn%26#039;t think it would affect gameplay. But when I started playing, there was this part on the 17th hole where it would always freeze, which got me really mad and frustrated because I couldnt make anymore game progress, and wasted my time. So my friend said to put toothpaste on the scratches, and, much to my surprise, it worked! The game has not frozen since.
When I put on the toothpaste on my CD, and wiped it off after a minute, the scratches just disappeared!
I%26#039;m just wondering, why does toothpaste fix scratches, and how?
Why does toothpaste fix CD and DVD scratches?
Toothpaste fills in the scratches and dries solid like a plastic in the gas where the scratches are. Not only that, but it is a great mild abrasive. Since CDs are plastic and scratch easily, a mild abrasive is perfect for this use. It does not affect the data either, because the area where data is written on CDs is actually on the other side of the disc, under the label.
Reply:there is a freezing liquid inside toothpaste which freezes the disc and sinmply removes the scratches. if you put a disc in a freezer bottom up it will do the same thing
Reply:The only way for a scratch to actually be removed is to buff it out using a VERY mild abrasive (how a skip Dr. works). When the laser hits a scratch, the beam is deflected from its target, causing the cd to skip. The toothpaste fills the scratch and keeps the laser from being diverted. I personally haven%26#039;t had great success with toothpaste, mayonaise, rubbing alcohol, peanut butter, or any other %26quot;quick remedy.%26quot;
Reply:Wow!
I didn%26#039;t even know that that worked
Sweet!
