Toothpaste to get rid of acne?

I%26#039;ve heard that using toothpaste helps get rid of your acne because it drys it out. Is there a specific kind of toothpaste (like brands) or is any fine? And my friend said to pop the zit then apply the toothpaste, but can I just not pop it and still put the toothpaste on? thanks!! And how long because I see results?

Toothpaste to get rid of acne?
u can use it but just dont pop the zit just ut alittle on the zit not alloverur skin and leave it overnight next morning wash ur face
Reply:Yeah, it may dry your zit.

But it will also harm your skin.

BAD IDEA!!!
Reply:use paste and not gel. You can also buy inexpensive creams made just for acne that work great.
Reply:I cannot answer re: toothpaste, but I wanted to offer the tip that putting a dab of honey on a zit overnight will help shrink the zit. Popping the zit is actually NOT recommended as you may be inviting more bacteria to the party, so to speak. Good luck!
Reply:If you are going to put toothpaste on it, don%26#039;t pop it. I%26#039;ve heard that it is the peppermint oil in toothpaste so I suggest a minty flavor. Results will probably be visible in 24 to 48 hours.
Reply:I%26#039;ve tried that before. Don%26#039;t do it. It will burn your face and make it red.
