Toothpaste on acneee?

ok i have few red pimples and few dry ones i put toothpaste (colgate regular cavity prtotection)on it for overnite (2nites)...and now i have red spts instead of pinples or dry pimple...is dat how it supposed 2 be? shud i keep puting toothpaste? or hud i ue tomato, lemon or tea tree oil..or any over the counter products?...plz let me kno asap..thanks

Reply:Toothpaste works but you don%26#039;t want to leave it on overnight, it will burn the skin and don%26#039;t just put a dab on the pimple not the healthy skin
Reply:DO NOT USE TOOTHPASTE ON A PIMPLE ,IT IS ONLEY A MYTH IT DOESENT WORK. But something that does work is proactive refining mask on a pimple

tea tree oils to greasy .... I use a product called total control by clearasil and it WORKS!!!!I use the dry skin perfecting treatment it heps prevent blemishes and evens out softings skin!!!! I love it u should try this!
Reply:Yes that is what%26#039;s supposed to happen when you put toothpaste on pimples. I do it all the time.





The toothpaste is working properly because the pimples are going away, but it leaves behind redness. To get rid of that, put a couple of eye redness drops on the pimples and let it soak into your skin.





Once the eye drops have dried, try to conceal the rest of the pimple as best as you can.

Reply:NOOOO! I did that once and i broke out really bad. On the tyra show the editior and cheif of allure said that, that will really aggitate your skin. Try crushing an asprin and putting it on your pimple, or putting visine on it to take help with the redness. Hope that helps!
