Toothpaste and pimples?

Does putting toothpaste on pimples actually work to make them go away fast?


I have spring pictures tomorrow and I have a huge zit=[


Any ideas on how to get it to be almost invisible by tomorrow morning?

Reply:It doesn%26#039;t actually make it go away faster. Well, it does, but it doesn%26#039;t make miracles. What the toothpaste does is dry the pimple out making it heal faster. And it does work!
Reply:it works for bringing the size down big time, you will see it will be very small if not almost gone. Use colgate on it...it works the best.Good luck with the pictures.
Reply:The toothpaste advice has never worked for me. A hydrocortisone cream (like Benadryl) will take out redness and that itself helps a lot.

Use Clearasil facial wash twice daily to prevent them.
Reply:try cover up, that%26#039;s what I do, but it won%26#039;t get rid of it. Atleast you won%26#039;t have it for your picture, just wash your face and get rid of it later.

Reply:it doesn%26#039;t work it just dries out your skin you should wash your face with warm water every nite before you go to bed, use proactive or nutragina, and for last minute pimples use COVER UP!!!!!!!

If you%26#039;ve already messed with it still put toothpaste on it. Also mix two eggs together and use it as a mask. It sounds crazy but your skin will glow tomorrow! Good luck
Reply:I%26#039;ve tried that before, didn%26#039;t work. What i have found is good for skin is aspirin...grind up aspirin, mix it with a tiny drop of water and put it on the face. Leave it for 15 or 20 minutes and rinse it off, makes feel so soft. I mix honey with the aspirin as honey is good for clearing the pores. The aspirin should help with the size and redness of the pimple. I use this face mask one or twice a week and it seems to keep my skin pretty clear.

try 1 crushed apirin tablet mixed with a few drops of water to make a paste. leave on overnight. or put egg white or yolk on it overnight. if it doesnt work resort to coverup :]
Reply:It doesnt make it totally go away, but it definitley makes it less noticeable and takes down the redness and swelling. If you do this, use the paste kind not the gel and put it on before you go to sleep
Reply:I%26#039;ve never tried it. Although I have found that the common hand sanitizer stuff seems to help if you get the zit to clear out and then dab at it with a little of the gel on your finger and just deal with the momentary sting.





I%26#039;ve had one clear up mostly over night by doing that. It was a little bit of a flat spot left to heal, but no actual zit. I guess the alcohol in it probably kills the bacteria and dries it up.

i suggest putting neosprine on the pimple just cover it all the way, but not too much at night and cover it with a bandage, go to sleep and it will be gone





and if that dosent work, put make up.

Reply:I%26#039;ve used the old toothpaste on pimple trick for years. I usually use the original crest. It works the best for reducing pimples but it won%26#039;t disappear completely overnight. Good luck! Oh if that doesn%26#039;t work mineral make-up would do the trick.
Reply:I have used toothpaste as a topcoat for getting rid of pimples and it worked. The only thing is that you should be careful how you use the toothpaste because it is acidic to the skin causing it to burn the face. So you should use a very small amount.
