Toothpaste vs Ringworm?

Recently i applied toothpaste (Colgate) on my ringworm affected area, The effects didn%26#039;t show up until i woke up. I found that toothpaste has smoothened the area and got rid of the tiny white bumps. It also helped lower the redness of the area, but the Ringworm is still present just easier to see and smoothened the area. So if you have ringworm rub toothpaste in the area and do not remove for roughly 12hours, its easy to wash off aswell.

It also smells better than rubbing vinegar on the infected area.

Toothpaste vs Ringworm?
Go get a 2 dollar can of tinactin atheletes foot spray.
Reply:Interesting. Applying ringworm to toothpaste is also effective at getting rid of toothpaste. I added some and then Aunty Pauline threw it away and said I was disgusting.
Reply:Ringworm is very very difficult to get rid off. If you have ringworm you should go and see your GP and you will get special tablets to take. I know they were very expensive in SA. That was the only thing that helped. Also it leaves spore%26#039;s and you should wash anything that you are in contact with regularly [ specially your towels, face-cloths etc]. Another thing is it is very very catchy and if you are in contact with animals, humans etc they can also get ringworm from you. Nothing will get rid of it, does not matter how much toothpaste you wipe on it you have to get special tabs for it. Once ringworm gets into your hair your hair will fall out in patches so be careful that you don%26#039;t touch your hair. Talking of experience here, my daughter had a kitten with ringworm and we all ended up with it. It was terrible, We had to wash our sheets in hot water every day, wash the curtains, carpets everywhere the kitten had been. Take care.

PS. If you got ringworm from one of your animals, the animal has to get treatment as well.:)
Reply:Practicing medicine without a license is a crime in this State. If anyone suspects they have ringworm - GO TO YOUR DOCTOR.
