Toothpaste without SLS?

I occasionally get canker sores...and I read online that the ingredient SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) can trigger canker sores more. The trouble is that it is commonly found in toothpaste. Currently I am using Rembrandt Extra Gentle toothpaste which does not have SLS in it. The only problem is it%26#039;s a little too expensive for my tastes. The last canker sore I had was a HUGE one so I figured spending $6 would be worth a try...but I just wondered if anyone else out there has any problems like this and knows of a good toothpaste I could try that isn%26#039;t expensive? Thanks a lot!! :)

Sensodyne ProNamel is SLS free. I believe Spry toothpaste is also SLS free. Most of the common toothpastes have it in so you will have to do a lot of reading of ingredients! You can also Google %26quot;SLS free toothpaste%26quot; and come up with a number of hits that might interest you.
