Would toothpaste or peanut butter work?

Okay, so I%26#039;ve got this Gamecube disk, and I put it in the Gamecube. the screen says there%26#039;s no disk, so I open it, look at the disk, and see there are some scratches. If I put some peanut butter or toothpaste on it and rubbed it off, do you think that the disk would work? Because I%26#039;ve seen some answers to one of the Featured Questions saying that toothpaste and peanut butter works on CDs, so is a Gamecube disk a CD? I would think it is, so wouldn%26#039;t toothpaste and peanut butter work?

Would toothpaste or peanut butter work?
I wouldn%26#039;t reccomend it, just to be safe use some Windex to clean the disk surface. If that doesn%26#039;t work you could try glasses lens scratch remover or go to a Wal-Mart and purchase the Doctor Disc Scratch Fix Machine if they still sell them. If all else fails you can try to purchase the same disc on E-Bay. Gamecube discs are mini-cd%26#039;s usually compiled of data and streaming graphics design architecture and integration. I wouldn%26#039;t say it%26#039;s a normal CD, but, more like a mini-DVD
Reply:i do that all the time, i does work. 100%! try it and you%26#039;ll find it. peanut butter and toothpaste both work.

Hope This Helps...

The Wii Man!!!
Reply:There is no chance in hell I would put any of that crap on any one of my games.

Use a soft cloth.
Reply:gamecude discs are like cds so yea it would work but for the toothpaste there is something in it that helps get rid of scratches so it depends on how big the scratch is,if its big then it would take a while to get rid of scratches, peanut butter yea that works to
