Hotel toothpaste?

during my frequent travels, I notice that the tothpaste suplied in hotels are made in China with no identifiable brand name. A check with the hotel management reveal their ignorance on the matter (or are they trying to cover up?) Are there any assurance that these toothpaste do not contain the harmful DEG substance?

How to tell if a certain toothpaste contain DEG? Could the taste, color, texture or smell of the toothpaste provide any clues?

Hotel toothpaste?
The FDA recalled some Chinese-made toothpaste earlier this year containing DEG, a component in antifreeze. The following website includes some brand names that you need to look for.
Reply:wow..... I didnt know chinese toothpaste was that dangerous.. Of course no one at the hotel is going to know, Its just delivered to them and they just have to stock it. It%26#039;s like asking a resturaunt waitress what type of toilet paper they use in the bathrooms.....

If its that big of a deal just go to the store and buy a bunch of little bottles of crest and take them with yeah.
Reply:Stay away from Prestone brand toothpaste.
Reply:Ask the pharmacy for details before you buy the toothpaste.
Reply:I do NOT use Chinese cosmetic or medicinal products . It seems to me there is a lot of dishonesty and corruption in China and this affects their produce

Edit, this includes food from China and MSG and %26quot;flavour enhancement%26quot; loaded Chinese food in the UK
Reply:chinese tooth paste has chinese raw materials !
