Toothpaste on zit and it exploded into a huge red thing?

I popped a zit on my forehead and right after I put some toothpaste on it. When I washed the toothpaste off there was a huge red bruise-looking thing on my head. This happened three weeks ago and it is still there. Why did this happen and how can i get rid of it?

My guess is that the zit and it%26#039;s related redness have nothing to do with the toothpaste. Sounds like you bruised the heck out of your forehead.





You may have scarred it because I can%26#039;t imagine a zit bruise still being there 3 wks later.

Reply:by putting toothpaste on after busting zit, it probably got irritated from toothpaste and got inflamed. gotta just wait till bruise goes away.

How to fix it:


1. Stop popping your zits, it%26#039;s disgusting and they%26#039;ll go away faster if you don%26#039;t pop them.


2. Get proactiv, or neutrogena oil free acne wash.
