For some reason even though I brush my teeth regularly for the suggested amount of time they never actually get completely white. Some work better than others but i need one that is really good for whitening
Toothpaste?
Whitening toothpaste doesn%26#039;t work THAT well, as do over the counter whitening products.
Some things to try:
1.) A professional bleach kit from a dentist.
2.) Cut out coffees, teas..etc..anything that can stain your teeth
3.) If you smoke, this is definitely the number one.
4.) Use a baking soda rinse.

Reply:No toothpaste will make your teeth completely white. You have to get them professionally bleached if you want them white. If you aren%26#039;t old enough/can%26#039;t afford that, you should try using Crest Whitestrips in addition to your toothpaste. They aren%26#039;t *too* expensive and they work well.
Reply:Aquafresh Extreme Clean Arctic Cool Plus Whitening. I also use, Listerine pre-rinse, and listerine mouthwash. Another thing you can do is, if you drink colored drinks such as, kool-aid, coffee, tea, sodas, etc. is rinse really well with water and drink plenty of it right after you finish the drink. You will be washing the tannins and colors down and they won%26#039;t have time to stick to your teeth.
Reply:Most whitening toothpastes just remove stain on the surfaces of your teeth and therefore are not so effective.Overall I would say that most of my patient%26#039;s have had some measure of success with the Crest Whitestrips, some more than others. Our office uses Crest Supreme which are much stronger than what you can buy in a drugstore and don%26#039;t cost that much more ($60.00 vs $30.00). You can purchase the drugstore version, but do yourself the favor of using them right after you get your teeth cleaned as any staining and buildup (tartar or plaque) will impede their ability to work. Also, don%26#039;t use fluoride toothpaste before putting the strips on (same reason). The strips are probably your best low price alternative, much less than in office whitening or custom trays (about $500.00). Whatever method you use it will not whiten your teeth for life, as you age your teeth will get darker and may need to be whitened again. Also, most people do not have perfectly white teeth. Almost anyone that is in the public eye (hollywood stars) have had crowns, veneers, or whitening treatments to look like they do!
Good luck!
