what is the best kind of tooth paste on the market (dont have 2 b whitein) ???

There%26#039;s a new one by Crest, %26quot;Pro-Health,%26quot; supposed to do EVERYTHING. For cavities, gingivitis, plaque, sensitivity, tartar, whitening, AND freshens breath.


Of course, I have to check this out!





According to Consumer Reports, the best toothpaste for gingivitis and tartar control is Colgate, the best for whitening is Ultrabrite (!), and the gentlest is Aim (August %26#039;06).
Reply:My dentist recommends colgate total. I like it, but it took some getting used to. Kind of gritty.

Reply:it depends on what type of teeth you have. If you have sensitive gums which mostly aches and reacts even at the most ordinary situation like eating ice cream I would recommend you use SENSODYNE. But if you%26#039;re brand conscious like most people I recommend Colgate. It trusted and have built their brand in the market and you won%26#039;t regret using their product.
Reply:I%26#039;m liking Crest Pro-Health right now. They have gone back to the use of stannous fluoride, which makes the fluoride ion more available.
Reply:My dentist uses and recommends Crest. I usually use different kinds of Crest (my favorite is the orig. mint paste, and second favorite is the orig. regular paste), but I also like the orig. regular Colgate paste and the new(er) Colgate Total paste.
Reply:The best toothpaste for you is the one that you like the taste of and that you will brush for longest with. It should contain fluoride and have either the ADA or CDA seal of approval. It all boils down to brushing long enough to remove all the plaque - the toothpaste is a bit like soap for your mouth. If you wash your hands with plain water for long enough they will come clean - add a bit of soap and they clean up more quickly - similarly with toothpaste but it really is the friction of the brush against the tooth disturbing the colonies of bacteria in the plaque that works.
