Toothpaste Question?

Ok so once I had a zit and I put Clearasil on it and all it did was dry it out and it didn%26#039;t go away. So the next day I put Toothpaste on it and when I woke up the next morning it looked like a burn mark! So I was wondering if it was the toothpaste alone that burned my skin or was it because the zit was already dried out and the toothpaste made it dry out even more.

I wanted to know because I have this Ginormous zit right on my nose! and Everyone is telling me that toothpaste really works. The one on my nose isn%26#039;t dried up at all because I haven%26#039;t really put anything on it , and I can%26#039;t squeeze it cause it%26#039;s plain red...... but I really need to get rid of it...it%26#039;s really big and I%26#039;m not exxaggerating!

Please help me! I%26#039;m on my hands and knees here!

Should I use toothpaste on it or not?

Toothpaste Question?
Do not use it! It was the toothpaste that caused the burn mark.

DO NOT PICK/SQUEEZE because all that does it cause the fluid inside to spread...and it is also what causes scars etc.. and it ultimately takes longer to heal.

Use cold ice. And time... Sorry, I know it SUX
Reply:i would use toothpaste, but not one with baking soda in it, and do not use gel toothpaste, just regular
Reply:You should use toothpaste. I read about it in the magazine that you should put a little bit of toothpaste on your zit at night. Wash it out in the morning(toothpaste). You will have a smaller zit than before or it won%26#039;t be there. The toothpaste is moist so it works. Also wash your face thoroughly so you can clean your pores.
Reply:If you have sensitive it%26#039;s not a good idea to put toothpaste on your zit. You probably have sensitive skin due to the fact that you had a burn mark when you used toothpaste the first time. Just wash your face with a gentle OIL-FREE face wash.
