I just got braces and i have a problem with ulcers and i need a toothpaste that wouldn%26#039;t cause ulcers but cleans my braces good.

Your tissue will toughen up over time and the ulcers should be less of a problem. Rembrant makes a toothpaste called Canker sore relief. It is made without sodium lauryl sulfate. That stuff is a surficant and people who get canker sores don%26#039;t need something that breaks down surfaces more readily (specifically the mucosal tissues).
Rinse with warm salt water (1/8 tsp to 1 cup water). That will help get rid of some buggies, increase circulation and promote healing. Stay far far away from mouth washes with alcohol!!!
If found holding cold yogurt against the tissue for a while before eating it helped to sooth the angry tissue. Good luck, I know it is a pain!
