Toothpaste on acne?

By putting a bit of toothpaste on some of your pimples, it%26#039;s said that it%26#039;s supposed to clear them/help them.

Does it actually work?

And how long should I keep the toothpaste on, and if I continue to do it how long will it take for the pimples to go away completely?

Thanks!

Toothpaste on acne?
It does dry them up. I think you should put it on tonight before you go to bed and wash it off in the morning. Make sure you dont pick them first or it wont help. Use the paste not the gel. It does dry them out. I would just do it at night. In the meantime, change your make up. Try bare minerals. I never got a pimple again after i started using it. Good luck!! Oh and believe it or not. Moisturize every day at night and morning under your make up. This also cleared up my skin. It sounds like it would make it worse but it didnt.
Reply:it works like magic for me!
Reply:It helps on cold sores, use a dab overnight.
Reply:dont do it! it does nothing except make the zit redder
Reply:It does work by drying the pimple out. You should put it on at night before bed (give it enough time to dry before sleeping) and wash in the morning. It should be clear after doing this for 2 nights. There is a big improvement after one night.
Reply:i think that wokes
Reply:yes it odes work... it works 4 me but everyone is different...

and ur suspose 2 leave it on over night
Reply:It works for me. Sometimes I put it on at night, and in the morning, my pimple is gone! Sometimes it takes a couple of days though. Don%26#039;t keep it on too long. I would say 1-5 minutes. If you keep it on too long, it will make your pimple redder, and sometimes make it dry and flaky.

I hope I helped! =]
Reply:make sure you use the white ones on gel. it works great. it dries it up
Reply:You can have it over night it will dry out the pimple. Apply some toothpaste on the pimple and Ice down the pimple before bed, by morning it should be noticeably better. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/
