Toothpaste on a zit?

does that actually work, when you put toothpaste on a zit? Do only certain toothpastes work? Does it work at all? Could I it on a wide area, like say my forhead?

Toothpaste on a zit?
dont put too much on

it works it draws teh bacteria out off it ie: germs and gunk

sleep with it on is the best bet
Reply:Make sure you put a very tiny amount, make sure its FLOURIDE, not gel. Works really well. I was a bit skeptical at first but it works
Reply:it does actually work.....it dries it up.... makes it go away faster... if you want the redness to go away put eye drops on em =D
Reply:It does dry them out, but I wouldn%26#039;t spread it on a wide area. Just a dab on the zit.
Reply:i had a zit and i use toothpaste and it work
Reply:This is an urban legend. It%26#039;s suppsed to work on love bites too because apparently it bleaches the skin or something. I wouldn%26#039;t bother though, it%26#039;ll probably make it worse.

Some girls in my class put toothpaste on their friends nose when when she was sleeping and the next day it looked like she had a massive spot.
Reply:I used to get acne on my forhead. I tried toothpaste and it didnt work for me. When I started using noxzema it completely cleared up.
Reply:Works very well as long as it%26#039;s not a gel paste.
Reply:it does but the skin around the zit that comes off is red and inflamed and it scars use oxy or salycin at night and wassh with mild soap three times a day and apply one or the other the stuff they sell on TV is a Mix of both ingrediant and a prewash
