Toothpaste/Zits?

I heard toothpaste works on getting rid of zits.

Is it true, and what is ther best brand of toothpaste to use?

Toothpaste/Zits?
Yeah I dont think that works. I haven%26#039;t tried it but get real hon, toothpaste is meant for your teeth. But,if you have bad acne , try Differin. It%26#039;s pretty expensive but if you have insurence they will cover it %26amp;%26amp; it really works! It worked for me and my friend really well so yeah. But talk to a dermatologist to see what%26#039;s best for you. They will give you the best solution.

Good luck!
Reply:it%26#039;s two sided.

toothpaste(or at least some brands) kill germs with the paste itself such as pastes like listerine toothpaste. this discurages acne growth.

however the toothpaste also clogs your pores thus harboring oil which leads to acne.

do the risks out weigh the benifits I%26#039;m not sure. but it%26#039;s probably easier to go to walmart and by a bottle of acne cream or what ever try clearasil ultra face wash it works real good.
Reply:Does it work? It depends on the zit. What it normally does it dry it out. You are better off using Clean %26amp; Clear Persa-gel [not sure abot the spelling] which is available at most drugstores. It seems to be the best thing on the market to cledar up zits in my opinion.
Reply:I heard that too. So I tried it when I was younger. Unfortunately I left it on too long and got a severe burn on my jaw line. You would be better off buying something that has to do specifically with acne.
